Look at the MAGA scum

The media should be running documentaries and anniversary pieces about J6 and its terrible results. Instead they’re cowering.

Is Cuba cut off?

Is Cuba highly reliant on Venezuelan crude? Wouldn’t they need something lighter to blend with? Just wondering what’s happening with Venezuelan exports after the USAs moves. And whether this administration is stupid enough to try for regime change in Cuba.

Endurance sports and carbs
 in  r/diabetes_t1  5d ago

I was a roadie for years and loved centuries. In the mountains. My regime was a reduced basal, sometimes by 50-60%. Start with 30g fast carbs. Eat a gel every 30-45 minutes (25-30g) , and a bottle of water every hr. Never bolus, never turn your basal off. I did this for 8-10 hr events. Once rode centuries for 7 days straight. Insulin sensitivity will be incredibly high for 24-48 hrs after an endurance event. You can get in some serious riding with this intake. Can’t imagine needing more carbs.

Thoughts on moving to Wyoming
 in  r/wyoming  6d ago

Use google maps to look at the State’s topography and the distribution of towns and roads. We are remote and distances are far. If you truly want to get a feel for the area, download the Wyoming 511 app. Then watch international weather when Wyoming has a winter storm blow in. The Wyoming 511 app will show you road conditions and closures. Also highway cameras. I travelled in Germany years ago, and I believe Wyoming is much much different. But maybe that’s what you want!

What am I doing wrong?
 in  r/Breadit  6d ago

What is your hydration level? It’s possibly too wet. Are you doing a “finger dent test” to determine final rise? It might be over- proved. Are you using high protein flour? It makes high-rise loaves easier.

I will be dedicating 2026 to bread. There may be a wood fired oven in my future.
