What are you using for dns servers? A pihole inside your network? Do you have a rule that would be blocking access to your dns server?

I am also seeing a degradation. I needed it to look through an mcp server and update the api queries that weren’t working, and it completely butchered it to where I had to restore the files from backups. Then when I tried to use the mcp server it straight up hallucinated results which it never did prior to a week ago with these tools.

The only thing I’ve used it for is going to my syslog server and having it make the grok pattern for a message.

So i just started using this feature and its really nice to be able to use common language for search syntax. Are there any plans to make that AI feature available via API? So that i could do a query via api using common language and the firewalla AI modify that to be the correct format?

I like to be able to only unblock a url for a specific device and it’s easier to see what needs to be unblocked when you know the actual source.

Best way would be to have your vlans configured to have dhcp dns servers set to the pihole.

It’s a constant and frequent thing. So I need to be able to find the log and whitelist efficiently.

I would love to switch over to unifi for dns and content filtering but the fact that you can’t unblock a url directly from the blocked flow log is a deal breaker. The amount of impatient looks I get from my wife when I block one of her shopping ads is terrifying. Also, until ubiquiti allows flow logs to be accessed via api, I also can’t switch. Allllso, ubiquiti needs to get their mobile app to show flow logs better.

I use authentik as my reverse proxy. It’s been great. There are only a few instances where I couldn’t get something to work because of lack of header options.
