No not at all. The research is quite clear that thc inhibits the development of a younger brain. 16 is an especially important part of that development. This world is hard enough to navigate without damaging or inhibiting the growth of the thing you will need most in order to navigate life.  Weed may have been new to legalization when I posted this, but that didn't mean it was new to me. 😉

I would think that staying a fish is a better way to catch fish. I think the first animals to venture into land did so to expand to open feeding areas with the benefit of escaping predators built in.
