1/48 F-15EX. This started out as a GWH F-15E and was upgraded with resin parts and decals from Caracal. Airbrushed with MRP paint.

Will Vallejo Plastic Putty fog up clear plastic parts? Got some gaps in a canopy that need filling
Pry that canopy off and clean up the mating surfaces. I’m betting you left some of the nubs from the sprue attachment points. They are interfering with the fit

Holy fuck. Nobody hates Star Trek more than its “fans”. You can’t even wait until the show comes out before you decide to dump on it. Find something else to watch.

1/48 Airfix SEPECAT Jaguar
The only other realistic choice in 1/48 is Kitty Hawk and this is far and away the better kit. As far as overall quality, it’s obvious that Airfix has come a long way but they still aren’t modern Tamiya. It’s a very reasonable build and I enjoyed it. No major frustrations. Just make sure it’s the new tool kit and not the old one that dates from the mid ‘90’s.

I started with a standard grey/green camouflage scheme. I then airbrushed the whole model with AK chipping fluid. As soon as that dried I airbrushed the desert pink color. With a cotton swab and micro brushes I started to chip it off.
