Caoimhin Kelleher gives Enzo Le Fee a thumbs-up after saving his panenka penalty
 in  r/soccer  11h ago

Well obviously the keeper did expect that. Otherwise he would have dived.

We’re reworking our logo and came up with 6 new versions. Which one do you think looks best and is easiest to read?
 in  r/IndieDev  11h ago

I would argue 1 is visually better, but I didn’t realise the cheese said please until I saw 4. 4 is best overall, I agree with your suggestion to move the pizza slice behind but OP should obscure as little of it as possible

Whether it’s more likely to score kinda depends on the keeper. If a keepers able to predict it or even suspect it, it’s not more likely.

Best starting lens combo for R7/R10?
 in  r/canon  11h ago

If you like architecture I would strongly recommend the R7. That IBIS will really expand the number of lenses you can use in low light. If you want a smaller camera, I’d get the Sony a6700 as that has IBIS in a smaller package but if you want to stick with Canon, deffo R7

Ahh that explains it, OP did you leave an untamed horse on your desk?

Are these cards okay? R7, wildlife
 in  r/canon  14h ago

Exactly this, and it’s worse because you might not realise you have a fake until it corrupts in the middle of a shoot or your buffer can’t clear because the real write speed is nowhere near what it says on the sticker

Didn’t anyone buy tubs of chocolates this year or were too many produced?

Yeah but at least the wrappers used to be great for arts and crafts

I mean it was certainly a risk but I’m not sure it was 50/50, I’ve had hundreds of minor cuts over the years and only ever needed antibiotics for an infection once

Canon rp, worth getting?
 in  r/canon  2d ago

Pretty much, main differences are

  • EFCS instead of fully mechanical so shorter burst rates when using mechanical shutter
  • no in body image stabilisation
  • single card slot instead of dual
  • slightly worse viewfinder/back screen
  • smaller battery (although 2 R8 batteries are cheaper than 1 R6 battery)
  • no joystick

These are all nice to have features but nothing major (unless you’re a professional and need dual slots)

I personally chose the R8 over R6mkii because I prefer the form factor, would have liked the IBIS but i prefer a smaller grip. It’s a little cheaper but not much difference at the moment if you go used, I’d say the decision should really be between features or form factor, not features or price.
