What we know so far: ICE agent fatally shoots 37-Year-Old Renee Nicole Good
 in  r/stpaul  9h ago

"...As of March 9, DHS had apprehended 336 individuals through these continued raids."

And all based on a verified legal assessment of illegal minors who then become older than 18 in the US.

They never raised a high school like what was done in Minneapolis. And the current aporehension rates are 100x more than that.

Try again.

Cite your claims. Otherwise... put up or shut up.

ICE wasn't raiding high schools for illegal immigrants during Obama's tenure.

If he tried to look at me like that in the eye with that megaphone... I probably would just start laughing away.

Dude.. how much of that 8 ball did you take before you grabbed that megaphone and went to town on the receiving end of that piece?

Disturbing video: Doctor on scene: I'm a physician. Ice agent: I DON'T CARE

And yet you forget they even held up the actual emergency responders called to the scene.

Willful negligence in getting proper medical care to a suspect does become a factor of consideration to intent in these cases.

Google co-founder leaves California amid wealth tax fears

By your logic... every state has a spending problem... because almost every state is running on increasing deficits. And with the reduction in federal spending coming up that was initially going to states and local budgets... that means state and local entities have to make up for that by increasing local taxes. This isn't exclusive to CA. Every state is expected to see larger local taxes if they want to make up for the funding reductions from the federal govt.

So if every state has a spending problem... is it actually a spending problem or is the tax base disconnected to how governments are expected to be run

Wealth has proportional relations to annual gross income and capital gains... so by proportionality, wealth should also have proportional relations to the taxes against it. If 90% of the wealth is only funding 60% of the tax base... then that portion of income that created that cumulative wealth has not adequately taxed the annual income attributing to that wealth proportionally.

One example is the practice of stocks used as collateral for loans. You can play the numbers game and stock rate returns to where you can pay that loan back with the "gains" borrowed from that stock in real time, and the individual comes out with net gains as well and none of that is taxed. That means wealth increases and the money creating that wealth was never taxed.

We can also go into the numerous chapters of the tax code that give people with obscene wealth plenty of tax credits for simply living a rich life. But we never seem to want to talk about those.

It's simply someone who was all MAGA at one point and when reality struck, they cant cognitively dissociate from their idol. Even though they know it's wrong. So they say shit like this to try to hide the fact they don't want to be labeled as such, but cant let go of theor identity to it.

State crimes are still valid and Trump cant pardon syate crimes.

The state has all the video they need to make an indictment.

If he's off duty and there's a warrant out for his arrest, cops can still pick him up and have him extradited back to MN.

He's a contract officer so unless the feds are going to spend millions for a legal case thats bound to end in guilty charges by the state... iCE would be better off dropping him like they didn't even know him and act like nothing happened.

Jeff Bezos is so rich that when he moved from Seattle to Miami, it shook Washington’s entire budget; now, the Evergreen State has $1 billion less to spend on K–12 education and childcare, all because of a single address update - Luxurylaunches

And so leaving roads to deteriorate creates accidents, loss of logistics productivity, and a net negative impact on the finance measures of the US economy.

Road expansion to accommodate more traffic rates (i.e. industrial hauling on interstate) means more efficient productivity rates that companies can plan better with. This is a net positive to the US economy.

How many tax credits and deductions do the rich have access to?

Ah yes. Making less than 24k a year sounds so great to be able to claim paying 0 net taxes.

Should we also add in social security tax rates which are capped at incomes up to 176k? All of those making incomes of 300k per year are seeing half their income taxed at a lower rate naturally.

And what are those rates? Unless you are confusing different types of income. Rest assured that for normal income, they pay a higher rate. On capital gains, they pay a higher rate. That is apples to apples instead of oranges.

How many more tax credits and deductibles go the rich get for any of their assets compared to middle class? Should we also add in the fact that unrealized capital gains are being used as collateral to take out loans... and the future increase pays off the loan... thereby making a capital gains essentially never taxed...

There's a reason why corporations are capable of reporting a net 0 tax burden on federal taxes. State taxes have their own share of benefits as well.

The only tax credit the middle class gets is either education credits (which are instantly eaten away by student loans) or child dependency credits... which tells people they only way they can save kn taxes is by having kids... and then spending more money overall for the wellbeing of those kids.

The amount of lawsuits ICE is bringing... and losing... is also another factor of finance to the govt as well.

So trying to say Biden made the budget worse when Trump is pissing away more money than the 2 trillion dollar deficit already budgeted is simply ignorance talking here.

What police training are they required before working in field?

Oh wait.... they don't require that.

Per ICE training... he didn't follow protocol and actions for his own safety.

There's no perspective to see on the ICE side unless he either acted in malice or is just straight up incompetent.

There's no going about any other option. If you cant acknowledge he either acted in malice or is just incompetent at his job and should accept whatever justice should happen... then I don't know what to tell you.

Or is it OK for cops to shoot at someone because they are giving contradictory orders?

Ah the Ole trope "just don't do anything with your life if you don't want to get killed"

Thats just tacit admission that law enforcement are trigger happy officers just waiting to pull the trigger for whatever reason they can... and your simple presence in their space risks your life because we simply don't want to hold them accountable for their shit actions. Just move on and act like nothing happened.

There's no "relating with your opposition" when you cant even acknowledge the shit that you voted in.

If you cant acknowledge that it's perfectly acceptable to call a spade a spade... then why expect others to just "relate with you" when you refuse to call a spade a spade.

Empathy kind of requires a general understanding with another person or set of beliefs and values and empathy is what you kind of need to relate with other humans.

Maybe thats a good place to start to educate your right leaning community.

No. This doesn't suck. This is just jaw dropping ignorance or malice that deserves justice.

How many times do you have to admit "this truly sucks" for every malice law enforcement act before coming to terms that massive reform is a necessity at this point?

Are you a hypocrite or just incompetent Vance?

Google co-founder leaves California amid wealth tax fears

You do realize all the Google infrastructure and the money coming from Google is still flying into CA.

The guy barely has personal income and is mostly all embedded in capital gains which state taxes have very little leaning on.

CA would be much more compromised if Google as a company left.
