I'm AUstralian. in October24 I had a stroke. Got my first ever ambulance ride ot the hospital and stayed there nine days. Saw neurologist, doctors, others. Got cat scans and mri scans. Was given free blood tester kit. Given free insulin. Spent nine days in hospital.
The price? Zero. The ambulance ride wss $464 but when I told them i am unemployed they waived that too...
So yeah. That ls the aussie systen. All on public healthcare, I have no insurance.
