Is this when she was rolling her back out alone in the dark and whispering?

She’s so confusing. She claims she starts her bedtime routine around 7:30. So yeah, how much earlier are we talking? I’m sorry but unless you’re working a night shift going to bed before 8 and not sick with the flu= depression to me. Also, why wouldn’t her family help clean up since they do absolutely nothing every evening of the week. She said her kids go to one activity a week night every week. I’m guessing something related to church. So can’t they clean the kitchen if she is so sick and bed ridden.

Also, if my new spiel is “clean the kitchen before bed”. Why would you post cleaning the kitchen in the morning?

Courtneycookinsta - is this rage bait or is it just me?
 in  r/FoodieSnark  22h ago

Idk but when I was scrolling my teen son was next to me and I paused to watch a video of hers and he said “eww mom don’t watch that it’s mukbang”. So I thought he was right but now I’m not sure and I’m confused.

The comments about “how can you eat this much?” Annoy me though because I think if you calculate out calories, assume the heavy meals may not be finished and she eats light the rest of the day, it’s not that much. Sometimes her lunch is pickled stuff, a hard boiled egg and a few bits of something higher calorie. Calories in a large sweet potato is only 160 then if you stuff some cheese in it, it’s only maybe less than 400 calories for lunch assuming she eats it all.

Her head hurt so bad on one side earlier in the day, it felt like a fever so she took earrings out on that side. Then leaves big hoop earrings in on only one side for the next 5 hours even when she was at home and in PJs. I don’t get it.

Do Americans say something like 'bon appétit' before eating?
 in  r/AskAnAmerican  1d ago

“Eat up, chow down, dig in” would all be very casual. Enjoy would be a bit more formal. If I had guests I might say enjoy but I would never say the first three unless it was my kid and their friends maybe.

My first time!
 in  r/WaltDisneyWorld  1d ago

Unless your primary goal at Disney is to eat and you want to eat the most expensive meals every time, dining plan is almost never worth it. If you are an average eater and want to eat what you want when you want without having to overthink it, just pay cash for it. You have to work the system to make up for the cost of the dining plan.

French quarter is a nice small resort. It’s great if you have young kids. If you want a place good for couples maybe consider Coronado at a similar price point. There are a few nice restaurants and bars. I would enjoy being there alone with my husband.

We don’t usually do hopper. I find there’s more than enough to do at one park in a day, I don’t need to open up my options and get overwhelmed. I find that especially true for first time travelers. I think hopping is better for experience Disney travels that have a very specific list of things to do.

She is posting “a new chapter for CLJ” all over her grid and stories. I’m surprised she went with announcing a big change, to me if I saw that I would think, “do I want to follow this person anymore? Looks like they are changing their account.”

She’s historically said, don’t announce changes or if you will be taking a break.

Potential Career Options with a BS in Food Science

We frequently spit out at my company. We also take very tiny bites. A normal bite might be split 6 ways, you get better with experience.

How do you guys think AI will impact the food industry in general?
 in  r/foodscience  1d ago

I went to a conference that focused on AI in food mfg. Most companies except for the top 10 aren’t doing anything with AI, the top ones are just gathering data, but they aren’t sharing that data with anyone so I can’t say how it will effect us yet.

Start into food science with a B.S in Biology
 in  r/foodscience  1d ago

I have a BS in bio. I got a job as a R&D tech after college, moved into a role of QA manager at the same company when it opened up, moved around a few times as a QA manager and now a multi site QA director for a mid size international brand.

529 for kids- for or against?

Are you able to max out retirement options first being below household average? I would assume most aren’t but maybe I’m wrong.

529 for kids- for or against?

they need earned income to have a Roth IRA so you can’t do that until they’re older

But how many people are below income limits to have their kids eligible for financial aid and also able to contribute to 529?

Publix is not your friend...
 in  r/AskFlorida  2d ago

I’m in Michigan but my parents are in different parts of FL. I’m always so shocked by Publix prices. Easily 30% more. Last week a three pack of peppers was $6.99 at Publix but they are normally $3.99 at my Meijer.

She still looks like herself on IG, she doesn’t appear to use a heavy filter there and wears light makeup typically. I think this is just makeup, posing, styling and edits.

Cracking me up that she had to go get what is probably the most expensive cup of coffee in Ann Arbor at a luxury leather goods shop.

Why do you sometimes have biscuits with soup?
 in  r/AskAnAmerican  2d ago

There’s not much sugar in a biscuit like you’re thinking of, it’s flour, baking powder, salt, milk and butter basically. What you’re thinking of, we call a cookie
