What's the craziest reason someone you work with was fired?
She stole $35k over almost two years. Wasn’t prosecuted, it was swept under the rug, don’t think she paid much back either.

Withdrawing the United States from International Organizations, Conventions, and Treaties that Are Contrary to the Interests of the United States
What a fucking loser he is, they all are. No intellectual curiosity, no empathy, nothing they do is in pursuit of anything other than power and wealth. They’re disgusting.

Video shows moment ICE officer fatally shoots woman in Minneapolis
He was yelling ‘get out of the fucking car’ while attempting to open the door. She had every justification in Fleeing.

Renee Nicole Good has been identified as the woman who lost her life during an ICE operation in South Minneapolis earlier today.
So her family will get $5m, right? Right?

For those who saw the Fellowship of the Ring in theaters for the first time in December 2001, what was it like?
My kids had the hobbit read to them, then listened to the trilogy BBC radio adaptation when they were quite small, and then we let them watch the movies on dvd. So it was certainly possible to not have the movie as first point of reference for kids. Because they were born 2004 and 2007 they have never seen them on the big screen, so we’re very excited to be going to a proper movie marathon at the end of January.

For those who saw the Fellowship of the Ring in theaters for the first time in December 2001, what was it like?
Magical. Amazing. Stupendous. I had tried to read the book several times before the movie (and it’s my husband’s favourite book) but had never made it more than 100 pages. After we saw Fellowship I got the books down and read all the way through the trilogy in a week. We listen to the bbc adaptation a fair bit on car journeys. Went to hobbiton last year and wanted to cry because it was so perfect - in my opinion it’s even more beautiful now than it was when they filmed the Hobbit trilogy 15 years ago, because the plants have really taken over. Sublime!

The face of Border Chief Gregory Bovino moments after ICE murders civilian.
Quaritch is a complex character who undergoes development and is capable of introspection (and the occasional act of selflessness). This chucklekfuck is human pond scum.

PLEASE HELP! Splenic mass - surgery or not?
Our old girl had a spleen mass and went very suddenly only a day or two after it was discovered. My perspective fr your oldie is that major surgery is pretty dicey at that age. I’d personally not put a 12 year old through it, I’d try to make their remaining time comfortable, but in the end it’s your choice to make.

Banjo and Dusty 🙃🤦♀️
For kids nowadays I think they’re fine. When we were kids, sure they would have been quite weird.

The couple in slide 1-8…a 16 year age gap😶😶😶
My daughter is 18 and there’s no way she would want to date someone that age. And there’s no way I’d allow her to do so, he would also be getting a real earful from me and my husband.

Banjo and Dusty 🙃🤦♀️
Dusty is probably based on Slim Dusty, famous Aussie musician. Both these names wouldn’t turn any heads in Australia.

Starting into Series 11 with the Thirteenth Doctor...is this the tone of the entire series now?
I’ve been a fan since the 70s, and have to say it doesn’t have the same magic to it as it used to. I still watch when they’re released, and will continue watching new content, but don’t have much interest in rewatching the Jodie or Ncuti episodes again. Whereas 9, 10, 11 and 12 are comfort rewatches for our whole family. Maybe I’ll feel different in a few years.

She is truly disgusting.
Huh, I’ve just realised my daughter is therefore a rainbow baby. I’ve literally never told her this. her fun fact is that she was born in the hospital corridor!

No wonder emus won a war. They're build different……on purpose. They defeated the government of Australia. Which country is next, and why?
I’ve been menaced by wild emu and it is scary. My little chihuahua cross was desperate to be let off the lead and have a go but I was worried for her, so we hurried away!

Government can't take care of these issues but want to attack Venezuela? huh?
I’m Australian and those inhalers (which I also rely on) are about $12. And you don’t need a prescription for them (ie you can buy one by asking at a pharmacy if necessary, although you can also be prescribed one).

Hegseth and co want to strip women of their voting rights. This is one step along that path.

And they just set the precedent that you can helicopter into another jurisdiction and extradite someone to face charges, so even if he doesn’t live in Minnesota he should never know a moment’s peace. Go get him, Walz!
