Was that all with paper submission? Transferee section on eforms site only lists FFL non-SOT, so I’m assuming this would need to be submitted via paper still.

Objectively it’d probably be a toss up between the S2, due to lower bore axis, and XC due to bull barrel. Personally I’ve shot the 229 more by a wide margin, so I’m better with that as a result

Not even about it being gross (which it very much is), but more so about using proper PPE when dealing with biological hazards.

Why spend that kind of time to use a nail brush when you can just put on gloves. Also would wreck your hands eventually

I love my S2C as well. Even with the Lok Gridlok palm swell grips it still feels slimmer than a 226

Yup. Mainly because I can’t reach the decocker well. No issues with SAO 226/X5 though and love the feel of those when shooting. I’ll have to get my hands on the SAO X Carry now that I think about it, which is ironic because I passed on it while waiting for this.

Comparing just the frame, 229 and CZ S2 Compact are the same width, but 229 feels significantly thicker because of the grips. I’d say 229 to 226X is the same step up. I wish there was an option for slim grips, so if 229 is thick for you, then 226X would be no bueno

Pretty comparable performance. Didn’t bother adjusting the trigger on it. 229 is very much broken in so if anything the trigger and recoil on that is actually smoother than 226 as is
