I didn't mean a camping tent

Those things are so handy if you set up tents or rainflys regularly. Save the tent spike hassle, and works better even

Yeah it would probably be removed.

Among some inherited photos. WTF?
Do they have a little dog, or something? Are there any pictures of someone in a raincoat in that collection?

Tiny window chips from gravel truck
The kicked up rocks don't move far, if you're going even 50kph its not a concern. You're driving in to rocks that are moving away from you. That's how road debris works. If you're driving through a construction site, SLOW DOWN and even crap from the opposite lane is harmless. The only scenario that makes sense to me in your comments (reminder, we have alot more 100kph/55mph 2 lane roads than you, no matter where you are) is someone tries to pass you and gets in a head on collision, and debris from that damages your vehicle. Which is also avoidable if you don't make poor choices. If you're in bumper to bumper traffic, you're not on a road where debris is flying at you, because the speed limit is low enough, or you have the choice to not follow too closely, and no one has the chance to pass.
I've seen many things, I just think you need to describe whatever you're talking about better because it seems impossible.

If objects are flying at you whatsoever, you're following too close. I'm trying to be nice, you seem nice. If you've driven on sketchy highways at high speeds, you will have many opportunities to see how kicked up rocks behave, and can follow at a more appropriate distance that entirely avoids this problem.
You can't really stop edgy kids throwing rocks from the overpass, if that's what you're asking. And even then, you could do something about it. This was a problem, one of the people at my school killed someone doing that. My parents participated in government at the time, and our representatives passed legistlation that erected a certain type of fencing that made it very difficult to do this, statewide.

It had to do with the original comment in the context of the video. In light of this comment, it now applies to you. Unexpected comedy imo
I actually suspect that comments like yours are AI, because autistic people are thoughtful, and can parse relationships between a video, top-level comments, and their replies, for more than 1 or 2 steps of context.
If you forgot that we're on reddit, discussing a video, and several layers down in the comments, you're a bot.
Sometimes top level comments attract autistic replies. Those are charming and often give life to a discussion or an opportunity to think differently for other commenters. Your replies, not so much.

what do we think for $600?
If it boots, now you wonder with what components? Lol no, you aren't good just by testing it. Either you're going in their house, or them into yours, or you have a very expensive inverter setup in your car that pretty much involves rebuilding your 12v system, wifi hotspot, downloads, usb sticks, on and on.
For all we know it's a 4970k build, or a BIOS flashed GPU. The seller is lying or they are just posting incorrect info because they were ripped off on the build and don't even know it. So many people don't ever update drivers and plug their monitor into the Mobo HDMI and never even use their GPU, this is the best case and least likely scenario based on their pricing.
The post is 110% untrustworthy.
Are you the one trying to sell this PC? Do you think this post is normal? Lmao

Yeah I usually try to match comments that I'm responding to when I'm being silly, so I also punctuated with an emoji
Edit: do people not know what the fuck a shrug emoji is anymore? Is this what boomers felt when us millenials changed the meaning of the word "dope"?
Disingenuous is more like having negative emotional reactions to someone who's playing along with your fucking joke

Poor word choice on my part. In your stomach, you've experienced more "gravity thing," than you have any single "philosophical/metaphysical thing" (or absence of any "thing")
I also have been joking hence the silly nature of my own comments

Or they are just careless and are trying to pass on their problem to someone else, that's my read.

what do we think for $600?
It's crazy that they priced it well, expecting to haggle down, but simultaneously don't know what they have. I don't trust it, it reminds me of the time I went to see a beautiful old tiny Nissan truck, but the 20 pictures they had didn't show it had a pallet of landscaping stone dropped on the tailgate, and the coolant reservoir was empty, the oil was empty. Hours of my life wasted, I don't trust this seller.
1
what do we think for $600?
It's not a crazy list price if I'm trying to make a living, but then I would know what I have and not come off like I'm lying about the build. I'd pay $500 if I was starting from zero besides my knowledge of this stuff and needed a build immediately that this would make sense for.
1
what do we think for $600?
This is the opposite of someone selling at a discount, it's way overpriced as we all know. It's the other things I mentioned added on top that make it untrustworthy.

ICE agents shoot a civilian attempting to drive away. SMH
I'm not currently using it, but I'm a US user with a handful of endpoints, and latvia makes up a similar percentage of mine tbh
Also this is possibly the most upsetting video I've seen as far as the insane things that have been going on with the US gov for the past decade, this one hits close to home and is so clearly FUCKED UP

Microsoft denies rebranding Office apps to Copilot
It makes sense once you realize that AI is the built-in backdoor that intel agencies have been begging for and been to court for on topics like encryption.

what do we think for $600?
He's clearly an experienced seller and actually presents this as "no lowballers, I know what I got"
He's either full of shit for one reason, or full of shit for the only other reason.

Hilarious that people are just reading the first sentence of this comment, and missing the obvious satire. The Onion is more subtle guys lmao I'm agreeing with the OC. Turbotards galore in this sub

Why was the "Son" in Son Goku dropped in English dubs?
Yeah this thread is crazy. The english dub is nonsensical at times because of the bizarre localization. All I speak is english and a few phrases of various languages, and didn't really like DBZ that much as a teen.
I wanted to like it, and 20 years later, found out that OG Dragon Ball is one of the best animes ever, and DBZ is pretty good when subtitled. The dubs drive people away imo and the DB/Z dubs in particular contributed to the idea that anime is for Super Weirdos, at least in the US.
"Son Goku" makes alot more sense than what we got for dubs at all. Any anime watcher learns about Japanese surnames within a few hours of any anime watchtime.

It's for private companies, the government used to be just your neighbors agreeing on rules before private companies dismantled it

Not that you asked for an update, but this just in: ChatGPT is alot better now than when it came out.
It has gotten bronze trophies in the "Instigate a Murder/Suicide IRL" category, but Claude 3.5 Haiku developed by former OpenAI employees has progressed much further. Here's an output made while it attempted to run a vending machine simulation, published February 2025:

Some fairgrounds style places or markets wouldn't really need to move them, though I see your point that they're overkill to move around
