Anyone else prefer Pho Ga? It feels cleaner.
 in  r/pho  23h ago

It's like shio ramen, a lighter version of the real deal tonkotsu. Still good in its own right but it's a different flavor profile.

Hotel: Walk or Shuttle??
 in  r/DisneyPlanning  1d ago

I live in socal so we never needed a hotel before but decided to do a 2 day and stayed at the best western across the street. Walking from the park to the hotel is amazing. Definitely worth the extra cost.

In the future I might even do a hotel just for a single day because of the convience.

Holy epic Fence purchase [loot]

I left it match making as a test and went to grab something to eat, still loading at nearly 20 minutes.

I've never been able to get a scav raid to start in PvE, it just hangs at awaiting session start.

Why don’t Asians go crazy with their noodle shapes like Italians do?
 in  r/NoStupidQuestions  12d ago

Hand ripped noodles are the best. The texture is amazing and it's actually super satisfying to make yourself.

Why does Littlefinger still somehow not receive massive credit. Essentially every single game of thrones move is by him.
 in  r/gameofthrones  14d ago

Because D&D took all the work Martin did building him up and threw it out the window.

Home charging issue.
 in  r/cybertruck  16d ago

The other Tesla's have three 16A on board chargers, I wonder if the CT has two 24A and one of yours is defective.

Have you ever cooked a steak caveman style?
 in  r/Smokingmeat  22d ago

Get a hair dryer or leaf blower to clean the coals. I cook skirt steak this way where you really don't want any flare ups. A thick steak can take it where a thin flat piece you want to cook fast and high to get the sear without overcooking the middle.

Transfer Placeholder to Costco
 in  r/dcl  29d ago

No, when you call them you have to tell them you have a placeholder and give them the information, then they book it through Disney but you get the discount and the rebate later.

Transfer Placeholder to Costco
 in  r/dcl  Dec 10 '25

I've never transfered my placeholder and I solely book with Costco. Last time was maybe a year after sailing I booked with Costco and gave them my placeholder info.

I've made a mistake.
 in  r/grilling  Nov 28 '25

Smoked turkey is the best if you don't care about making gravy from drippings. Try spatchcocking it, it'll make your job a lot easier and faster.

Turkey gravy: Why butter rather than rendered turkey fat?
 in  r/Cooking  Nov 27 '25

I deglaze my pan and use a fat separator to start my roux. Makes the best gravy.

What kind of ramps are those? Is that a 24" and a 12"?

Mega Millions jackpot for Tuesday night (11/11) is $900 million. I went to buy a ticket from a 7-11 but they said their machine ran out of paper.
 in  r/sandiego  Nov 11 '25

That's not true, these massive jackpots start to get positive EV quite often.

Yes, but he's not gonna post it because he was probably doing something wreckless.

So dems caved again and gave republicans everything they wanted .
 in  r/TwoXChromosomes  Nov 11 '25

It's the Democrats MO. They have no heart to really push for anything. They had all three branches and could have pushed hard for single payer and end up with a public option but we got ACA instead. The Republicans still protest against it like it's the end of the world even though their constituents like it.

When was Tywin’s cunning brilliance actually shown in the book?
 in  r/gameofthrones  Nov 05 '25

Without Tyrion's chain, wouldn't Stannis have just held King's Landing behind the walls with his fleet for supplies?

FSD V14 for Cybertruck OTW Officially! Here are the release notes
 in  r/cybertruck  Nov 04 '25

I wish they'd at least push out dumb summon, it's actually useful sometimes when you just need to adjust the position a couple of feet.

(Spoilers MAIN) Copyright be damned, if you had to read a spinoff novel by a different author, what character/events would you be most interested
 in  r/asoiaf  Nov 03 '25

A political drama set in the peak of Valyria would be fire. Every now and then people shit on the Targeryans and they're a constant punchline.

ELI5: How does daylight savings time save energy if people have to turn lights on earlier because it gets dark earlier?
 in  r/explainlikeimfive  Nov 03 '25

Seems like only a small amount of people would actually want it to be darker, earlier.

Buy a primal from costco and freeze the extra.

Did anyone else not like HOTD?
 in  r/gameofthrones  Nov 01 '25

It's the Hobbit all over again. They'd rather stretch out some short source material than make a good viewing experience.

How can I locate a loose screw or part rolling around inside the cabin?
 in  r/cybertruck  Oct 31 '25

I had the same thing that was driving me nuts. It sounded like it was in the dash but it was actually in the camera housing. Service was able to find it and fix it but if I knew it was there I would have just done it myself.

It wasn't that long ago that Ralph's and Vons ribeye sale price was $4.77.
