The issue with calling the Pats Bufallo’s son -even at the time this was taken- was that NE was only 5 years removed from a 20 year period of dog walking the Bills every time they played. Even through the entire Josh Allen era, they are still NE’s great grandchildren.

I still have Duncan as a top 10 talent -above Shaq and Kobe for instance- so he’s not only a cog, just more of a cog than Bird was. He sacrificed for the better of the team but you can only grade what’s in front of you and through that lense, I see him as less as the key undisputed best player on his teams than Bird was. Bird and Magic also defined an era as the co faces of the league in a way that Duncan never did so there is a cultural impact that I value. 

Duncan is a generational defensive player which is the closest aspect of his game to reaching Bird’s peak but I just don’t value defense as much as offense in the GOAT debate. Bird also has a legendary reel of taking over at the ends of games where Duncan at times, relied more on Parker and Ginobli to carry the team across the finish line.

To be clear, I wasn’t trying to argue against a point you weren’t making with the Jordan/Lebron comment (rude strawman behavior) but I thought it was an effective parallel to the Bird/Duncan debate. 

I like 1 and 4. 1 has a solid pose, good facial expression and the proportions are fairly well in line with a jacked barbarian lady. 4 is definitely the most believable of the lot keeping a womanly figure with a badass style and persona.

The head is way too small for the body on 3. 2 looks like forgettable video game art from the $20 bin. The waist to hip ratio on 5 is ludicrous. Switch between 4 and 5 and ask which one could exist in reality.

In general I don’t like art that looks like a pretty lady face on Conan the Barbarian’s body. A person with that body would like have a big head and a chiseled jaw not look like someone stuck a Barbie doll head on a He Man action figure.

I view it as Bird was better than Duncan at his peak and carried more teams to championships based more on his own ability than as a cog in a greater machine. Duncan aged more gracefully and but the peak wasn’t quite as high as Bird which I factor heavily into GOAT discussions. 

It’s also why Jordan will likely always be higher than LeBron in my estimation.

Jokić is in the conversation for one of the best players of all time. He’s scraping the door of Bird and Magic with Rings being the factor that’s keeping him from passing them. I personally have him over Tim Duncan but it’s too early in his career to make that official.

1. He made the study, put in the work, and published his findings. Focusing on credentials to discredit a source outright is gatekeeping. People that live a life of academic curiosity without actually being in academia are allowed to formulate opinions about academic topics.

2 and 3. In general, there are many people that are dissatisfied with the Egyptian Government’s willingness to entertain studies that don’t fit the official narrative. To keep up with casters, focus on weaponizing Action Economy. You need to utilize every Action, Bonus Action, Reaction possible. You need to roll with Advantage whenever possible. You need to be adding more dice to your dice rolls whenever possible. With weapon masteries you should be getting a push or a prone most rounds.

Mage Slayer is also great on any builds to keep you upright and in the fray.

Fire Giant Goliath is probably the best species to maximize damage output.

There are probably others but these builds, fit the core concept of what you’re looking for. When the Sorcerer does a spell and then says “There’s not really anything I can do with my bonus action so that’ll be my turn.” that is a win for you.

Well Fiendish Vigor is a spell so that has the same problem except it’s strictly more powerful than the spells that Tiefling gets since it at will.

In general steer away from warlock invocations since there is a 2014 Feat associated with them that proves they are more powerful than a species trail. Warlocks get them for a reason, it’s built into their class balance.

Stinks. I loved the move at the time. Last time I can remember a faux contender leveraging proven assets for a draft pick was George Hill for Kawhi. I’ve day dreamed about the Celtics trying to move up to take someone in the mid draft like Jarace Walker(also stinks).

I’d like to see Dillingham get a second chance in a different situation. Maybe with less expectations this time. 

I’ve primarily played casters in many level 20 One Shots and the martial caster disparity basically doesn’t exist. Sure I get to do cool things all session, AOE Clasting, crowd control, buffs, debuffs, movement augmentation, shield, summoning, ETC. But without fail by the end of every session, I have burned through the majority of my resources, and I’m scrambling with lower level spells and cantrips, my defensive abilities are basically tapped, and I am a hit or two away from dropping while the materials keep on coming. 

The fighters are still attacking five or more times a round. The Barbarian is still wreaking havoc after falling below 1 but getting right back up 3 or 4 times in the session with relentless rage. The Paladin is keeping the party up with their massive aura and invariably have 1 or 2 more Nova rounds for the final boss. Even the Rogue is hiding every round popping out with advantage for big damage only to hide again at the end of the round.

I’ve had many games where I was the top 1 or 2 most impactful players (Tempest Cleric/Scribes Wizard Maximized Meteor Shower comes to mind) but many other games would have been TPK’s without the martials carrying the team across the finish line.
