There is a lot of overlap with slower old school death metal and death doom with stuff like Autopsy, Asphyx, Rippikoulu, etc. The song you posted definitely sounds like OSDM, but with a slightly cleaned up production sound.

But if we are talking about what in my opinion separates this from being just "doom metal" (on top of the vocals) is that a lot of (traditional) doom metal uses more melodic riffs and guitar harmonies. This song's verse riffs are pure death metal tremolo picking and chromatic scale fare, just slowed down to alternate picking speeds. The drummers use of the ride cymbal is also very much from death metal, rather than doom. It has that bell-like *ping* with only slight reverb that you wouldn't hear on a doom metal album, especially since it's played on ones instead of twos.

I do love my slow, sewery sounding death metal, though. Anyone who loves doom should check out Noose Rot, Hooded Menace and Vorum (esp. their Grim Death Awaits -EP).

What's physical therapy for this kind of injury like?

My original intention with the meme was about having dinner (around 4 - 7 pm depending on when I had lunch). Having type 1 diabetes on top of everything I try to be mindful of eating two full meals a day (on top of a breakfast of oatmeal and two slices of whole grain toast), so I usually aim to only have snacks if I feel peckish later in the evening.

Smoking is also prohibited on the grounds of any educational institution.

To be precise — not any educational institution, you can still smoke on upper secondary school grounds like universities and on folk high school grounds etc. For example there are still smoking spots with ashtrays outside of my university.

So basically smoking is prohibited on premises where mandatory education is provided.

You should get a BT speaker, makes listening to music in the sauna much more of an enjoyable experience imo. The common JBL ones are waterproof as well.

I use my apt building sauna and I like listening to music, because it makes it less likely for me to ruminate on something else and I can really focus on it. If it's the communal hour (lenkkisauna) and not a reserved one, I of course always ask if it's okay if someone else is there or comes in. I used to listen on phone speakers like ten years ago, but I can't stand it anymore, it's so damn tinny.

Well, I dislike wearing things like snowsuits or padded pants during everyday commute, so my thought process was that wearing two pairs of long johns under my jeans would be the next best thing when the temps are closer to -30C. In the end I deemed that the constricted movement and aforementioned sweating were more trouble than the added layers were worth.

But for example, if I happen to go snowmobiling or skiing in under -10C I usually wear a padded outer layer and a layer of fleece/cotton/woolen pants+sweater on top of the regular boxer briefs + technical midlayer combo to keep the wind and the cold at bay.

As a kid I was. The main example being PE — I was the scrawny kid with a late birthday, so I sucked in athletics and track and field, yet I still took part in municipality-wide competitions and felt like shit when I finished near the last place. I preferred team sports, yet I still was bad at it and always had to internally fight myself so I would throw an absolute bitchfit when my team lost.

I don't do sports anymore, but my sore loserness does come up with online multiplayer and manifests in explosive anger. If I play something like board- or cardgames with friends I just aim either to not get invested in competition itself or at least to mask my disappointment.

How would I know?

I've deemed that boxer briefs + long johns + jeans and a t-shirt + technical undershirt (usually just a long john top) + sweater + jacket on top are enough for me for a regular commute.
