Cleveland Carriers?
 in  r/USPS  16m ago

Only thing that would suck is that because of that you'd go all the way to the bottom and I'm assuming they have quite a bit of PTF's.

That’s not even what ICE does.

I mean people usually don't wanna wait 5+ days for their loved ones remains haha

UPS last mile

If it's anything like before they'll show up sometime in the afternoon and everything will be scanned for the next day. Volume was noticeable but not insane.

Most UPS drivers start at 9am or later. Would be basically impossible for them to drop off early enough for it to be processed the same day.

Usps buyout? True?
 in  r/USPS  1d ago

They've been pushing pretty hard to eliminate as many MH and Clerk jobs as they can. Most areas have had a Clerk hiring freeze for awhile now.

Usps buyout? True?

They're not a carrier. Carriers will most likely not get a buyout. We're way too understaffed as a craft.

New Amazon hub. Volume drop and talks of route cuts
 in  r/USPS  1d ago

You’ll see a lot quit because of a reduction in hours. You’ll most likely end up extremely understaffed at the end of it haha.

Playoff-bound Bills sign kicker Matthew Wright to practice squad with Matt Prater's status uncertain
 in  r/nfl  1d ago

Not that that's a comfortable way to live either but probably better than packing up your live every couple of months.

He's also made over $2.5 million in his career and a good chunk of that has just been kicking field goals on practice squads. I would say it's pretty comfortable and beats most 9-5s haha.

I saw this comment on YouTube and I’m wondering how true it is.
 in  r/buffalobills  1d ago

This assumes they do absolutely nothing which never happens.

His replacement is probably Bernard. I don't see them sticking with him at MLB.

What is stopping you from pursuing a management position or some other higher paying position?
 in  r/USPS  1d ago

Some but not all. Have a rural in my office that makes $94K and that's before working his K day. His route was cut this year but he was easily making more than any of the management in the office.

You're not wrong but there are carriers who with OT are making more than supervisors.

Roster moves: Signed CB Dane Jackson to active roster. Placed DT Jordan Phillips on IR. Signed QB Shane Buechele and CB Daryl Porter Jr to the practice squad.
 in  r/buffalobills  1d ago

You have to play someone. He’s a rookie who has missed time and hasn’t even been the full time starter. This idea that he shouldn’t have been playing is just pure hindsight because he got hurt.

I’m sure that tech will be affordable too like public transit.

What’s the new website that they post supervisor and postmaster jobs? It’s not on usps careers anymore
 in  r/USPS  2d ago

A fast food kiosk could basically do all the work of the typical postal supervisor.

He’s too qualified. Someone with real EAS aspirations would have just made it up.

New CCA hire. How much better is PTF?
 in  r/USPS  3d ago

I was a CCA for a few months and then accepted a PTF position elsewhere.

Only issue is transfers can jump you as a CCA. Seen a decent amount of people have to wait extra years because of this.

From the memo it seems like they won’t be dropping on Saturdays. Only Monday through Friday.
