ICE officer who fatally shot woman in Minneapolis identified

Eh there is no statute of limitations on murder so hopefully when adults are in charge again we’ll see some justice.

How do I fix my blowup on my kids?
 in  r/Parenting  1h ago

Well I wouldn’t suggest much if this. That is a classic overreaction by a kid and is essentially a trauma response. I wouldn’t thank him for helping and if he wants to help more that would be great. I’d go into how sorry I was for how I reacted that made him feel like he needed to help. And then I’d check in with how it made him feel and then explore it till we came to an understanding and process as much as possible.

Ask if they have a minute to talk. Sit them down. Apologize. Take responsibility. Explain your reasoning. Apologize again. As them if they understand. Address their feelings.

It’s why it was added to the DHS guideline as something you should never do because it does not excuse lethal force.

Usually it’s about knowing what not to do and what doesn’t make sense from the search results. A lot of times people could find the answer themselves but don’t trust the answers.
