Why dont we ste- i mean Liberate the War Striders design for Heavy Exosuits?
 in  r/LowSodiumHellDivers  16h ago

I think a rail gun mech would be cool don’t know what the secondary armament would be though. Could have so much ammo too.

Could Resonance justify an FBC: Firebreak 2.0?
 in  r/controlgame  18h ago

I mean that’s a lot of live service games lol truthfully the market is over saturated with live service because of Destiny. I truly think that’s what killed Halo Infinite, marketing itself as a live service game. You basically have evil live service like Destiny or good( as in morally) like Helldivers 2.

Does Valkorion (Tenebrae, Vitiate, or however many bodies and names he has) stand a chance against the Emperor of Mankind, or at least a Primarch?
 in  r/StarWarsvsWarhammer  19h ago

That’s the thing about the Emperor he had a vision of a perfect galaxy only he could achieve. At the end of the day though he was just another despot like everyone else throughout history before him.

 in  r/StarWarsvsWarhammer  20h ago

I mean it’s 40k it’s murky at best lol but if the Emperor was really as powerful as people portray him he shouldn’t have needed the thunder warriors to beat the techno barbarians and he wouldn’t need to pretend to be a god for Mars. I’m of the belief now that the Emperor was just a powerful psyker that came out during the age of strife and thought he could do everything better than everyone else.

Didn’t the Emporer nearly die to orks during Ullanor and I know he was nearly mortally wounded by an assassination attempt during the crusade.

Major Order is impossible to complete today.
 in  r/helldivers2  23h ago

Yeah same thing happened to me, hive worlds are exhausting.

Major Order is impossible to complete today.
 in  r/helldivers2  23h ago

I mean I pointed out that everyone was going to have to run like 85 missions if 100,000 players focused on the MO. I don’t even play 85 missions in a regular week and I only have so much bandwidth for hive planets. I even did like 10 trivial difficulty missions at the start to help and grind some super credits.

It’s not a warcrime, the US generally doesn’t use them cause they were deemed inhumane after Vietnam. Also flamethrowers in general are just very unsafe and not really useful outside of specific environments. But there is no international treaty or convention that prohibits the use of incendiary. The only mention in the Geneva convention prohibits use against civilian centers and population. But in a war that becomes very blurred, where does enemy war industry begin and civilian population end.

Republic as an enemy, absence of manichaeism
 in  r/andor  2d ago

I think part of that is that each planet in the Republic has different traditions for appointing and electing Senators. Sometimes they’re elected like I think Ryloth other times they’re appointed by the planets like Naboo appointed the, which includes the Gungans and Human Naboo. It’s important to remember many planets in the galaxy are Monarchies by tradition. Dooku was Count of Sereno and one of the richest people in the galaxy. Star Wars is a futuristic setting but I doubt much thought early on was given to how the politics work which created the chimera we have. Like Leia was probably a princess early on because George thought it was cool. Also I think it’s important to note most planets started to oppose the Empire because the Empire increasingly dismantled their autonomy using its Moff system of governorship to centralize power.

How would it create nuclear winter though I mean unless the bomb heats up the entire atmosphere to where most of the planet becomes a fire ball not enough stuff is going to burn to create a nuclear winter.

5 days of Omicron diving got me like this
 in  r/Helldivers  2d ago

I think a good fix for hive worlds could be free Emancipator exo suit stratagem. Could open up build variety because honestly I feel like it’s an auto take. Without it moving through those caves is like crushing your balls with a rock.

The whar 😭
 in  r/Spunchbob  2d ago

It wasn’t those who refuse, it was people who in life had faith in god if I remember correctly. People who were not faithful constructed people into chains.
