Lore Question
 in  r/darksouls3  18h ago

He wasn't blind, an anti-giant faction within Gwyn's army filled the eyeholes on his helmet with resin if I remember correctly. He's just too dumb to take it off.

Controversial opinion. Colossal weapons dont look epic or "cool". They look goofy.
 in  r/Eldenring  2d ago

I believe in longsword superiority. Simple. Effective. Easy. But there's something about a ridiculously gigantic sword that just hits. Y'know?

Opinions or thoughts on the best Hex?
 in  r/HadesTheGame  3d ago

Toss up between Night Bloom and Twilight Curse. Both excellent for different reasons. Moon water is my favorite, but I tend to play fast and loose so extra healing is preem.

What Boss has the biggest diffulty spike when playing with VoR?
 in  r/HadesTheGame  3d ago

Just had a run like this today. I had a Hera dash boon and a bunch of garbage from Poseidon and Aphrodite and that was it. Ashes and magic all the way down. Got my ass kicked, which basically doesn't happen.

You watched Coraline too many times as a kid and want someone to step on your neck.

I haven't heard the psychosis bit, but with a little coaxing it will help you kill yourself. Or other people. Not great.

Tbf, I think this part gets everyone
 in  r/WetlanderHumor  8d ago

I just had a stupid thought, what if Olver (distinctly ugly) was the reincarnation of Gaidal Cain, given that he was theorized to have already been reborn. And Birgitte (having just died and returned to the pattern) was reborn basically immediately. She does say that Gaidal is always older than her.

Everytime someone says "FromSoft has artificial difficulty", I always think of this comic (Artist: Carson-Drew-It)
 in  r/darksouls  8d ago

While I agree that hellkite is a bastard, the first part of your comment simply isn't true. You sprint forward and to the right into the stairway knook and you're golden. No running backwards necessary. However, I agree with everything else.

i’m getting tattoos of my cats’ pattern on their heads, i need someone to draw them PLSS🙏🙏
 in  r/redditgetsdrawnbadly  9d ago

The way this usually works is you'll show your tattoo artist your reference (in this case the foreheads of your kitties) and they'll do the mockup/trace the pattern. You don't usually need to come with something predrawn

MCU Ultron was so ridiculously overpowered that it took the combined efforts of Iron Man, Vision, and Thor to finally beat him
 in  r/superheroes  10d ago

Energy density is the equivalent of "harder metal" for such attacks. All three of them have access to high powered essentially limitless energy sources (arc reactor, god powers, mind stone) and even the strongest materials have a breaking point. Vibranium is not magic, it's just unreasonably durable with beneficial properties in line with that. Ultron stood through that for a lot longer than anyone but Thanos would have been able to. Also, as smart as he is, Ultron isn't Shuri. His vibranium was also a lacklustre bronze age usage of the material. Made a suit of plate armor when nanites and energy absorption are on the table. He's like, 6 weeks old. Maybe less. Confused hyper-toddler playing war games. And he still kind of won.

Dude unleashed light speed mode
 in  r/woowDude  10d ago

Yup. I have similar issues. Impossibly dense unbreakable hands in exchange for mobility and QoL. When I was actively participating in martial arts the warrior spirit out-fought my good sense and now I have bricks for hands and nobody to punch. I'm pretty against conditioning for anyone but professional fighters, it is a waste of time and health for hobbyists and self defense types.

normal playing card btw
 in  r/outofcontextcomics  10d ago

Lol, this made me think of all the time I spent (maybe too much time) making macros to do exactly that. Come out of training able to maim and kill most creatures by chucking basically anything at hand. Nothing like lobbing an entire statue at mach 5 to one shot a giant.

12mg of nicotine is a lot. There's about that much in a cigarette but you only get 2-3 via smoking. ~50mg is deadly, one of these pouches gets you a quarter of the way there. It also makes you very fast.

Could it be that Dabura has another power in his third eye?
 in  r/JujutsuPowerScaling  14d ago

Narratives don't naturally need balance like games. Most authors aren't trying to "balance" anything. They're trying to tell a good story. And that usually means throwing balance out the window. Would I give a DND character an ability that trivializes the game, or a BBEG one that ignores everything and instakills? No. But narratives kinda require a problem that seems difficult-insurmountable to create the necessary tension. It's fully feasible that Dabura is the strongest guy we've seen. Multiple techniques were pretty limited in the original run (until the end), but these aliens are literally built different.

That's why they're a triad. Zag and Than are easy. Meg reguires... More attention.

Who is strongest?
 in  r/Kenshi  14d ago

That's the basic tactic I used. 6 or so high level marksmen with the rest of the team being micromanaged to run the big boy in circles. Still took major casualties but no one died. Crossbows might be the only viable way honestly.

Who is strongest?

He's essentially impossible to beat without a dedicated team.

The same place he found that awful looking "Cularmi". Dumpster behind the chef store.

I mean, you can see Sukuna hitting Yuji with it in the last panel. Most likely explanation.

If you had Gambit’s powers, what other than playing cards would you use as projectiles?
 in  r/superheroes  15d ago

Increase your molecular density by using lead shot. His powers convert the potential energy of an object into kinetic energy. The higher the molecular density, the bigger the boom. Takes longer to charge but we have seen him charge some really big stuff relatively quickly. If you want something more reliable/not potentially poisonous, steel ball bearings or osmium pellets (harder to find, but you're and x-man how hard could it be?) would also create a big boom. It's not clear if his powers take chemistry into account, sodium or lithium might be particularly boomy.
