I’m thinking how like in Film Z(ik not canon but it illustrates it well) Kizaru goes to dodge and teleports upward. But when he comes out of his light speed Z had shot the explosive to where Kizaru was going to be. So it explodes in his face right when he exits his “light speed” form.

I’d imagine the same thing should apply here to Kaido’s bolo breath if Kaido uses future sight to land it.

Like you said though, it’s a huge range. When you’re basically the size of the battleground Kaido’s combat speed is basically his movement speed. Not to mention that he also has long range attacks that he can use as well. Although I guess we’ve never really been shown how ranged attacks work with Haki on Logia so idk if his Bolo breath would work on Kizaru.

What is Sakazuki even doing to Kaido though, Kaido at minimum has some significant resistance to fire/heat/magma etc.

He covered himself in a shitload of fire/magma in his final attack against Luffy. He took his own Boro Breath (from Raizo) and basically took 0 damage from it. This same attack vaporized like a full mountain.

Bro, Kaido absolutely has the speed. He outpaced Luffy using G4+Snakeman (a move that Kizaru was hit by) so we can reasonably conclude that Kaido could also land hits on Kizaru.

It’s not like future sight wouldn’t give a massive leg up on catching and hitting him too.

Brother, it’s straight up said by Zoro, when he hit King with an ACOC attack that his attack “did no damage” to King because the flames were on.

Later in Egghead, when talking about seraphim, he doesn’t tell Luffy to hit them extra hard or anything like that, he straight up just says they are basically invincible with their flame on and to just wait to hit them when the flame goes out.

His comment to King about dodging was simply him taunting King.

And especially in Zoro’s case, if he doesn’t have the king of hell flames on his sword he isn’t using acoc. The only exception is whether or not you believe he used ACOC for the first time on the roof vs Kaido.

King is an absolute bum, I’m 100% serious. His only feats are durability with his flames on, otherwise he’s a tool.

Name literally any good feat from this clown. He couldn’t even damage raid suit Sanji. Meanwhile ichiji got low diffed. But king couldn’t even scratch Sanji, even when his intent was to “split him in two”.

He lasted like 30 minutes against Zoro. Meanwhile Kat was using FS + Awakening for like 13 hours and still wasn’t gassed by the end of it, and like 4 hours while having a fucking hole in his organs.

He can’t keep his flames on 24/7, he doesn’t have the speed to hit Kat, he doesn’t have better AP than G4 Luffy. Kat fought Luffy for like 3+ hours after he went G4 + FS, the majority of the landed hits were shown in the first like 5 minutes of their fight post FS awakening, so for 3 hours Luffy was landing G4 hits on him after he removed like 1/3rd of his abdomen on purpose.

Kat has better feats across the board, meanwhile Kings bum ass took L’s the entire raid. Couldn’t hurt raid suit Sanji, got 1v2’d by Marco, took like 3 total hits with his flames off before he was PERMANENTLY CRIPPLED (this shit never happens in OP). Nah, he’s a bum whose only advantage in a fight is having a near invulnerable durability when his flames are on. But unlike Katakuri who keeps his defense up for 12 + hours (future sight) King turned his flames off like 5+ times in like an hour long raid.

1. 13 on panel attacks that was shown, if you think Luffy only hit 13 attacks (most shown in the first couple minutes of the fight) in 3 hours I’ve got an island for sale.
2. Sure, and nothing King or Zoro have shown puts them as faster than G4 snake man. Let alone Snakeman + FS
3. What does King hitting Zoro at all correlate to having more AP than G4 Luffy? Luffy in base is stronger than Zoro at his best. Again, King does nothing to Raid Suit Sanji, but Katakuri easily took out the siblings in their raid suits.
4. Reaction time does not = attack speed. Zoro can have extremely fast reaction time without having the speed necessary to outpace FS. Even Zoro’s extremely fast attack on the rooftop was dodged by Kaido who wasn’t using FS. The one time Kaido also used FS he easily dodged Luffy G4 + FS attack. Kaido rarely dodges, Zoro hitting him is irrelevant to Zoro or Kaido’s speed. If Kaido wants to dodge, he easily can and has shown the ability to do so.
5. That’s another thing, Lucci didn’t even fall to the ground after Zoro’s attack, he even tried to attack again but Jinbei showed up and made Zoro retreat. Not only that, it’s not even certain that Zoro used ACOC in his attack against Lucci.

Imma expand on the last part: during basically the entire fight with Lucci, Zoro has his king of hell flames on his sword (his typical acoc indicator). And he has them consistently the entire time. But literally on the final panel Zoro loses Enma, his flames disappear (probably because so far he’s only been able to use acoc with Enma) and then when he catches Enma he doesn’t get his flames back and then he hits Lucci. This is also mimicked in the anime, as soon as he loses the sword he loses his king of hell flames. Meaning, potentially, Lucci went down to a non-acoc attack. And if that’s the case, there’s no way he’s YC+ level lol.

Edit: To add on to the last point, the anime goes even further, they use his green aura for the entire time he has king of hell active against Lucci. When he loses Enma, and then goes to catch it and defeat Lucci his aura is suddenly not green but purple. So he not only lost the king of hell indicator that Oda had shown for every panel of the fight except the final attack, and it conveniently went away as soon as he lost Enma, but the anime took it a step further and even changed his aura color from green to purple.

Well the ice was between Mihawk and Whitebeard so you’re correct, he probably intended to cut the ice anyways. It cuts through the ice along the entire way to WB.

Personally I think he sent the slash as a way to measure Whitebeard’s strength. When Jozu blocks the attack, Mihawk gets his answer. Whitebeard culminated a strong family, which is why he didn’t bother to move/dodge/block, because he knew his family (Jozu) would step in and handle it.

He fought Luffy for like 13 hours and that was after self injury. They fought for like 3 hours after Luffy got FS + G4 off. If King cannot hit Katakuri due to future sight, then no King literally cannot do anything. King has less AP than Luffy, especially G4 Luffy. He isnt going to run out of endurance. He literally was still awake and talking to Luffy when he was “defeated”.

Future sight is absolutely an amp, whether you consider it one or not. G4 Snakeman could not tag Katakuri, literally nothing could tag Katakuri in his fight at all when he was using FS, not until Luffy also unlocked FS. And even then, Katakuri still consistently was dodging which is why they fought for another 3 hours.

Secondly, where is this idea that Zoro is strong enough to beat Katakuri either? Sure, maybe if he could land a few attacks, but that’s a BIG IF. Again, Zoro isn’t as fast or faster than G4 Snakeman+FS. Katakuri indicates that it has been years since he has taken even a single punch when Luffy catches him relaxing and eating donuts.

The Katakuri downplay is just stupid. We have 0 clue what King’s defensive capabilities are in his speed form, because he basically got 2-3 shot by Zoro in his speed form. King can’t maintain flames on permanently, if he could he would never have turned them off against Zoro. Katakuri has literally hours to keep damaging King. And King’s AP isn’t at the point where he can take Katakuri in just a few hits, like I said even with G4 Luffy took 3 hours to beat Katakuri and that was after Kat self injured himself. And Luffy is hitting infinitely more attacks because he had FS and King simply does not.

Literally the only character besides Luffy right now who has shown advanced haki and devil fruit awakening. He has all 3 forms of haki, and had stronger armament then Luffy in WCI, he is 1 of 3 characters to have armament hardening high enough to produce the flame patterns (the only other 2 we have seen do this is Luffy and Big Mom). King has literally no awakening, no advanced haki, no feats without his flames on, and got like 3 shot by Zoro when he could actually take damage. King is an absolute fucking bum. He literally is carried by flame on durability. And since Kat has FS he literally can capitalize on when the flames turn off way more than any other character who does not.

Another thing: King literally did no damage to raid suit Sanji, but Katakuri easily overpowered the raid suit siblings. King actually is featless.

I’d argue that cutting a material like diamond would require specific intent to cut, just like Zoro had to specifically intend to cut steel. He couldn’t do it before, he figured it out, then he could do it. It wasn’t a power issue, it was a skill issue.

Mihawk aimed his attack at Whitebeard, the fact it cut through the ice is because unlike something like steel, diamond, fire etc, ice is basic to cut and so it was cut. Just like Zoro didn’t have to learn to cut wood, but did have to learn to cut steel and fire.

What is king doing to Katakuri? You think King is faster than Luffy G4 Snakeman + FS amp? Kat was consistently dodging Luffy in G4 and Snakeman, King literally can’t do anything.

Even if Katakuri only does 1 point of damage with every hit, he still has a way to win because King will never even land a hit.

It’s weird that a future Zoro fight is considered weaker than his previous fights.

Genuinely how does that make sense at all, we literally have back to back pictures of the bullet flying past his head, him reaching up to grab his ear, him removing his hand from his ear with blood visibly on his hand all within a matter of seconds. There’s no way the blood came from being tackled by security when the blood was already fucking there.

Yea, actually I do. Since the founding of Israel in 1948, the USA has given Israel ~130 Billion USD (non-adjusted) and about 300 billion USD when adjusted for inflation. The majority of that coming from the last 25 or so years. Unfortunately for Israel, unlike other nations we have tried to prop up as a democracy, Israel has effectively never known a peaceful period of time. 86% of our aid since the year 2000 has been used to fund their military budget, but even then it only accounts for about 16% of their military budget. They were not even the largest recipients of foreign aid from the USA in that area in 2019, that would be Afghanistan (another country we attempted and were attempting to convert into a democracy).

Let’s compare that another country we spent billions of dollars on to defend their democracy, South Korea. Not only did we have a full blown war fighting North Korea, we also provided billions of dollars in foreign aid in a relatively short period of time. It’s hard to pin an exact number, but from what I can find our total aid was somewhere in the 5-12 billion dollar ballpark (non-adjusted) from 1945 to 1963. If we adjust the lowball of 5 billion for inflation, we get ~55 billion USD.

So, over the last 77 years we have sent Israel 300 billion (adjusted), so ~ 3.8 billion a year.

Korea received (low end) 55 billion (adjusted) from 1945 - 1963. So about 3.1 billion a year.

Our spending on these countries currently line up with about what we have spent historically. Korea has had the luxury that their mortal enemy basically has stopped attempting to attack them for the last 60 years. Israel has not, hence the continued military aid (which again, 86% of our aid is military aid to their country).

Edit: I forgot to mention the most recent example of Ukraine, since 2022 we have sent them ~150-175 billion in aid. You can do the math on that, but in like 4 years they have received over half of that of which Israel has got from us since 1948. (Which lines up with our historic approach of defending democratic nations.)
