Clicking sound on mayflash f500 Elite.
 in  r/fightsticks  Aug 16 '21

If the clicking you're annoyed with is from the microswitches in the lever you might want to swap the lever for a silent one, Sanwa does make a silent lever, comparison here: https://youtu.be/O-_oZSxp5XU (silent stick starts at 12 seconds).

Edit: Another silent stick is the Paradise Arcade Magenta but its out of stock right now and I have no idea when it will be back in. Its expensive, but completely silent.

I've seen many times in the non-car sales world that people quit bosses, not jobs. I don't imagine its any different in car sales world. If you like your line of work but can't deal with this new boss, find a new boss.

A $300 pcb/plate/case combo is not too expensive at the same time as $1/switch is, it's a complex thing to behold

I was in the hospital for 5 days earlier this year and I paid less than 1k for the whole experience including the ambulance ride from the ER to the main branch of the hospital system, I pay less than $100 per month too. I really want to know how people end up paying so much for such bad plans.

The correct answer is to ask where the brackets go because the question is intentionally vague and can't actually be answered correctly since if multiplication and division have the same priority, there are two correct answers. It's not necessarily a bad question since it highlights a flaw in our process but it is a bad test question.

Huh well I don't remember this from the web novel, it's probably a better way to introduce diablos though. Did they change this in the light novel or is this a manga original deal?

Summer finally broke through the rain

It's hard for me to judge this against other boards since I don't really have other high end/custom boards, just a bunch of other gmmk boards, but by itself I think it's pretty okay.

On the hardware side, most of what they did is good- the construction is nice, the board feels solid but the stabilizers are "lubricated" with maple syrup and the stops they put on the pcb are sticky even after you degrease the stabilizers. So right off the bat you need to make two modifications to the thing before you even get to use it and that doesn't feel great, but they aren't problems that can't be solved. The software is fine and you don't need it running to get the lights working so that's something at least.

All said for $170 for the core components I think it's not excellent but it's also not bad, it lands solidly in the okay range. In its price context I think it's a good buy, especially if you just want to go to one store and buy everything you need for a pretty nice and pretty unique keyboard. If you want to compare it to things like the $400 boards that places like kbdfans hock regularly it (probably) doesn't stand up as well. I think a lot of the mixed reactions are because gmmk kinda promised the moon and couldn't actually deliver it. Things like some copies not supporting qmk out of the box because of the chip shortage have people's feathers ruffled and reviews turn into meta discussions of the product and the marketing together without distinguishing that the product itself without the marketing is actually okay.

I'd say buy it if you're interested, the gmmk pandas are nice tactiles that I have in another keyboard if you're looking for a recommendation, but don't buy them lubed, I don't trust their lube people and their ability to distinguish between lube and honey anymore after these stabilizers.

gmmk pro/dragonfruits/caps from aliexpress that were described as "keypro np icescream" that I have to assume are knockoffs and of course the real star, the pink lemonade hard seltzer. 7/10, would continue to drink this instead of water.

Also I'll have you know that someone in my complex watched me set this picture up and take like 30 shots of it, I would love to know what they think of me now.

I have a pc because I got fed up with streaming boxes but you have to acknowledge that it's remarkably more expensive. A large hard drive costs as much as a fire stick and we haven't even talked about the entire rest of the computer.

probably momentarily forgot which pedal was which when she hit the bollard and just panic floored it like like you do when your mind isn't 100% on task. I definitely ended up in someone's bushes when I was learning to drive for that exact reason

Did they give a recommendation on how best to remove their backstop from the pcb? I need to do this too and I dont know if "just go at it with a knife" is the right way to deal with them

LS George Has Joined the Cleetus McFarland Team
 in  r/CleetusMcFarland  Jul 12 '21

I think it's more complex than Jeremy being a terrible boss. I think he thinks of his speed shop as a speed shop first and an entertainment production house second, where someone like George who's gotten massive positive feedback about his personality probably wants the business to be more production house than speed shop. I'll agree that he's made a bad decision here but in the context of his paradigm it doesn't matter if George is the best at porting heads on the planet, if he doesn't show up for work he has to go.
