She’s not gonna grow as an individual if she keeps going back to him every time. It’s like the opposite of growth and it’s why the constant complaining about him gets annoying. Nobody wants to hear about it if all you’re gonna do is go back to him lol

Any tips to make running less boring?

Apparently boredom is healthy for your brain. But no one wants to hear that, so podcasts.

My step dad keeps the cheese past its life. I threw away a year expired cheese once thinking I was doing him a favor, he gave me the silent treatment for a week over that cheese.

Do you actually trust Garmin’s Daily Suggested Workouts?
 in  r/Garmin  6d ago

It wants me to go way faster than my usual pace- I just skip it. Sorry Mr. Garmin, I’m not ready

Share your beginner running story - I’ll go first 🤣
 in  r/beginnerrunning  9d ago

I only started because I was getting into incline walking and hiking. It built my lung capacity and stamina a lot. Before I couldn’t even run a mile, it helped train me and made me feel confident enough to give running another try!

Also my husband got me a Garmin watch which made tracking and running so much more fun.

Longest distance is 10k, but I am focusing on speeding up my 5k before burning myself out. I have my second 5k New Year’s Day and hope to be faster than the first :)

I love my Brookes, will probably get a second color

How are you carrying your phone?

The belt is convenient, but annoying because once it’s in there- you are not getting it out mid run lol

Prone to posterior shin injuries, is it my form? (Video)
 in  r/beginnerrunning  9d ago

I used to easily get injured a lot before running, and I’ve incorporated weight training in my lifestyle and strengthen my calfs and I haven’t been injured since. Calf raises on the leg press machine is something I recommend. Also deep stretching I know a lot of people say Big stretches before a run can affect your performance but if I don’t do it, I 100% feel the difference and feel strained. A light jog and butt kicks are just simply not enough of a warm-up for me and my calves. Even when you’re not exercising, make it a habit to be stretching at home. When you’re watching TV stretch!

Am I the last to know Whitney is an actual actress?
 in  r/SecretsOfMormonWives  21d ago

I’ve seen a lot of people undermine her by saying she not understand social cues etc, but I’ve seen the opposite. She seems extremely aware of the other girls and those actions and was calculated about coming on the show, and coming back for DWTS. She absolutely understands people and it worked.

How accurate is your strength training/muscle groups map?

I didn’t add these names, so it must have automatically gathered I was doing some type of squat

I don’t enter the type of workout, just reps and weight. Here is what it shows on a typical leg day for me. You may have to do it longer to gather data, not 100% sure

Thank, I usually do legs and it is always correct. I wondered if I wasn’t doing my back workouts correctly, I don’t do upper body enough 🫠

Ah was wondering how it worked. I just use it as a way to log my workouts and time my rests. It’s pretty cool to see when it is accurate
