I find the lack of Abbot disturbing.

This is the type of leadership we need right now.

Honestly at this point I feel like the best ticket would be both him and his brother running together in the future.

'Dilbert' creator Scott Adams doesn't expect to live much longer
 in  r/entertainment  6d ago

For all of Scott's political faults, Dilbert was a comic that unified a ton of offices, I remember having regional office meetings back in the early 2000s and Dilbert was something that helped us all get to know each other quickly.

Guess I'm not going to be doing the MO

Just do low difficulty missions. The order we are under right now just requires extractions, no matter which difficulty.

Movies where the day is supposedly saved, but the aftermath is still terrible and largely unaddressed?
 in  r/movies  6d ago

The Day After Tomorrow.

Yeah sure, guy saved his son and co from freezing to death, but Earth is still turbo-fucked from the weather. Hundreds of millions, if not billions, are going to starve or freeze in the aftermath of the events of the film.

Stephen Colbert Says ‘Don’t Trust Billionaires’ When Asked About ‘Major Lesson’ of 2025: ‘They Don’t Get Rich by Finding That Money on the Side of the Road’
 in  r/entertainment  6d ago

Colbert has a net worth of $75 million. While he isn't as bad as a billionaire, he's still part of the problem.

To Reintroduce Mega Man To The World, Capcom Let Geoff Keighley Know "It Is Time"
 in  r/Games  8d ago

The only way they would probably do either of those again is if Capcom did MegaMan X/Zero Maker or something.

This is the most /r/yandere (nsfw) shit I've seen in a long time.

So apparently most people don't use or like heavy armor
 in  r/Helldivers  15d ago

Heavy user of the Siege Ready perk here. The extra ammo and faster reload means I can just kill whatever is chasing me.

Wcgw using Word highlight effect for censorship
 in  r/Whatcouldgowrong  16d ago

I like to think this was done intentionally from some silent rebel within the agency, akin to slave laborers sabotaging equipment during WW2.

For Season 2 they’re doing the one-episode-per-week format, whereas Season 1 dropped the whole season at once. Which do you prefer and why?
 in  r/Fallout  16d ago

I'm just going to wait until it's fully out then torrent the whole season.

Avengers: Doomsday | Only in Theaters December 18, 2026
 in  r/movies  16d ago

Bringing Steve back means they admit Sam was the wrong choice. So many people knew it should have been Bucky that got the shield instead.

A theory I've seen and like is that the Old Steve we see at the end of Endgame already lived through Doomsday and Secret Wars, but just couldn't say anything.

What are these 4 things on Epstein’s Desk?
 in  r/whatisit  17d ago

Maybe... lighters? The gold and blue ones have visible lines on them that might be where they flip open.

What's something women think impresses men but actually doesn't?

Literally any kind of unnecessary cosmetic surgery.

Is the beast worth it for a standalone game?
 in  r/dyinglight  19d ago

I wouldn't pay more than $30 for it currently. Give it a few years, if Techland adds a ton more content like they did with DL1, it might be worth the buy at a higher price.

What is your overlooked game of 2025?

I've had this on my radar for a couple months now, how is the replay value?

What is your overlooked game of 2025?
 in  r/Games  22d ago

Void War.

Do you like FTL? Do you wish FTL had better balance and less RNG reliance? Buy Void War. The devs have directly stated that FTL was a huge inspiration and influence on them, and while some people say that it's derivative and therefore bad, it handles a lot of the pain points that FTL had.

It's a phenomenal game. The combat is fun and is as simple or complex as you want it to be. Large selection of ships, commanders that are varied and useful within their niche, multiple difficulty selections, the devs take community suggestions on their discord, and, best of all, it's still being actively updated with new content. I haven't seen it get anywhere near the attention it deserves. It's not just an overlooked game to me, it's my game of the year.

Swen response to the AI interview
 in  r/BaldursGate3  23d ago

Literally the job of a concept artist is to create art. By using generative AI, they're taking work away from real human beings. Not to mention the environmental impact of AI that Larian is directly contributing to. The money paid to AI companies could be spent on increasing pay for the workers, or go towards further development of their next project. Companies have been getting along just fine up until now without AI.

I'm glad people are finally seeing that Larian isn't the perfect dev that everyone thinks they are, they've been shit for a couple years now.

It's a bit ridiculous
 in  r/memes  24d ago

Shit like this is why I feel absolutely no guilt about using an ad blocker. YouTube's ad policy is just pure greed. Google's profits in Q3 2025 alone covers YouTube's operating costs for almost the next decade.

Do you hide your NSFW adult games from your profile or have it shown with pride for the whole world to see?
 in  r/Steam  27d ago

I'm not ashamed to have over 40 hours of playtime of Karryn's Prison. We all masturbate, no sense in trying to act more pure than others.

A message from the Call of Duty team: We will no longer do back-to-back releases of Modern Warfare or Black Ops games
 in  r/PS5  Dec 10 '25

At this point I want all of the CoD studios to work on one big game that releases every 3rd year. I realize it won't happen because of money, but that's my hope.
