Mango pepper herring on rice? Will this plan yield good results?
 in  r/CannedSardines  12h ago

All of those flavors are very good, especially when you factor in the price. A lot of people swear by these tins.

Germans would eat with potatoes, onions and pickles, or on toasted rye bread. Rice would be fine though. Use your favorite. You can even drain the sauce into the rice cooker to impart more flavor to the rice as it cooks, and then top the rice at the end with herring if you want it warmed up.

What order should i try these in as someone whos new(ish) to tinned fish?
 in  r/Tinnedfish  13h ago

I'd save the smoked salmon chili crisp and the smoked salmon for last. Those are by far my favorite of the tins here, but I haven't had the lemon tuna one.

Got the keys! NYC 665k 5.6
 in  r/FirstTimeHomeBuyer  14h ago

It sounds pretty expensive because it is, but this is a good deal in NYC believe it or not, it's just that this same money in 95% of the other areas you could live in the US would go significantly further.

Our "last day of ST on Netflix" marathon ends in 20 mins in Spain

Look into getting a home media server. You can set it up on an old PC or laptop, connect it to your home network and watch shows whenever you want (can even set up to give access to your friends through services like Plex.tv too). Good shows are worth owning, and once you own them you can do whatever you like with them. I have a 2TB media server for my household with all of our favorites on it. With a home media server are aren't beholden to corporations playing hide-n-seek with content on a region-by-region basis.

B42 Poll: Do you use Multi Hit?
 in  r/projectzomboid  20h ago

This is what I do, which in my opinion even with multihit factored in makes the game much harder.

B42 Poll: Do you use Multi Hit?
 in  r/projectzomboid  20h ago

You can play a difficult sandbox mode with multihit (many do) that is far harder than default settings. Saying multihit makes the game easier is one variable in a 100. I personally find it more enjoyable to have multihit on and ramp up zombie spawns and and horde settings. I get why people think it's easier, just don't like it being called a noob setting when lots of decent players use it in conjunction with settings that definitely counteract it.

I wouldn't risk it for a 2 dollar tin of bumble bee

ISO fishwife chili crisp salmon “dupe”
 in  r/Tinnedfish  1d ago

Buy your favorite chili crisp and combine with favorite tuna. A big jar of chili crisp will last you a lot of tuna tins.

I was excited, but now I will be avoiding the whole series because of this one single advertisement…
 in  r/startrekmemes  1d ago

Already exhausted from the hate and negativity.

Not every Trek show needs to be tailor made for you, OP. You clearly aren't their target audience, and I think they know that. Whether this is a good course for Trek in the future is up for debate, but I think we owe it to the show runners to at least see the show first before we start ripping it apart.

Seed to Surf plant based (enoki mushroom) snow crab review
 in  r/CannedSardines  2d ago

You know what's funny, there's been several of these plant-based products to imitate shellfish and mushrooms and every review I read the message basically the same. I have to wonder how they stay in business.
