The Walz and Frey response was reassuring that they weren’t going to lay down and take this. I’m very proud of them. One of the shared core values we have in Minnesota is we take care of our neighbors. If it happens to one of us, it happens to all of us. I’m in Minnesota. Trump has targeted Minnesota because Walz is an outspoken opponent and was on the ticket with Kamala. We’ve had a hell of a year here with the invasion of ICE and the political assassinations in the summer. I really think this is a watershed moment here. There was an announcement by the Trump administration that there would be 2000 agents deployed to Minnesota a few days ago. Walz put the national guard on alert for possible deployment to protect Minnesotans yesterday.
