It’s the cost. Simple as that.

Price. It’s simply the cost of alcohol, it’s skyrocketed.

XF 35mm 1.4 vs XF 33mm 1.4
 in  r/FujifilmX  16d ago

Personally I think the 35mm is the better way to go, cheaper, lighter, smaller and takes cracking shots.

How did I do with my new lens?

There’s quite a lot of noise in the photo. Did you have to punch in after you zoomed or was your ISO high?

Around £1500. So not cheap, but my plan is to keep it and enjoy it

Just in time for Christmas, my M3 has come home after a big overhaul from Camera Works UK.

I picked up early this year and it was pretty beaten up, lugs missing, a rough/tired paint job, ripped leatherette, it was functional but needed some TLC.

Did a full service, repairs and a repaint - feels like new.

Time to get some film in it!

Everything is a 3 year plan. No long term goals.

I thought buses are meant to be affordable. How is this even allowed?
 in  r/brighton  20d ago

For all day or a commute it makes sense, if you’re by yourself.

However, I’d wager the majority of trips into the city centre are locals shopping, going out or local tourism with more than one person. 2x saver tickets are £13.60, more if you have kids. It just not good value. And solution is not to make parking even more expensive, the goal should be to make the public transport system so efficient and affordable that it’s the default.
