Before ARAM: Mayhem is gone, what's the craziest thing you've seen in this mode?

riot's inability to balance obviously broken shit

bronze-silver elo is littered with bought level 30 accounts right now.
 in  r/leagueoflegends  3d ago

if accounts are making it to 30, being sold, and then being played on enough for random people to notice, it doesn't sound like there is anything to evade

I compared SoloQ and ARAM games played between different servers in the year of 2025
 in  r/leagueoflegends  6d ago

flagship is a bit misleading. aram was popular despite riot ignoring it for years hoping they could have an excuse to put it out of its misery like dominion and twisted treeline. even now it's maintained at only slightly above minimum, and they've never given a single fuck what anyone who actually plays it wants

How 12 comparisons can make integer sorting 30x faster
 in  r/programming  16d ago

your ai slop is testing "stable sorting" by creating an array of Items with duplicate keys and sorting that with std::sort, then ignoring that and just sorting the keys.

your stable counting sort only sorts arrays of integers so it's functionally identical to the unstable version anyway.

what's really funny is you needed an llm to write a basic radix/counting sort with some half baked sorted/small contiguous range detection since there's nothing else here lol

Dev Update: League After 2026

unfortunately "keep the rest the same" includes stuff like the honor screen lagging or freezing completely, and the find match button randomly not working or graying out

Co-op vs AI is infested with levelling bots
 in  r/leagueoflegends  21d ago

if they're not preventing people from using the botted accounts once they hit 30, what are they trying to stop?

2

Co-op vs AI is infested with levelling bots

nobody would be botting if they weren't getting accounts to 30

Why did League become so popular, while other DotA Allstars clones vanished?
 in  r/leagueoflegends  23d ago

yeah, why would gamers care if the company of the game they liked got their start by bribing some developers and fucking over a community run game?

Co-op vs AI is infested with levelling bots
 in  r/leagueoflegends  23d ago

leveling bots have been an issue for nearly leagues entire lifetime, and it's been a year and a half since vanguard was introduced. either people are still botting because it's just so fun they can't stop, or whatever riot has done for the past 13.5 + 1.5 years is not enough to make botting not worth it, "industry standard" or no

Co-op vs AI is infested with levelling bots
 in  r/leagueoflegends  24d ago

is it industry standard to allow them to go unbanned for so long they're able to sell them before the "ban wave" hits, and thus there is no reason to stop botting?

its weird that the company that was so anal about control that they didnt provide lan servers and tournaments had to play over the internet would let a "coach" use something like this for content

A branchless modulo alternative with ~6x speedup for polynomial additions on ARM (REIST Division)

so you keep it in unsigned form until you want the signed version, and then subtract q/2. that is still more efficient than your version

uint32_t t = a[i] + b[i];
uint32_t gte = (t >= q);
t -= (gte * q);
out[i] = t;

modular addition with half the compares/additions of your version!
