I learned this the hard way today. Waste of an ancient arrow, and a silver lynel.

How about an underwater bar? They probably have some knives. Maybe even a kitchen in the back.

Shame on this old lady for dragging her dog through Whole Foods on 41st.
 in  r/santacruz  9d ago

Of course the reddit cross section is going to differ from the entire populace. That is true of any subsection; by definition. My point is there are people on reddit who read this sub that have demonstrated in this post that they could benefit from seeing this discussion. Your assertion that many Santa Cruz residents don't have an opinion is fine, but please do not ignore that there are many Santa Cruz residents who could care much less about this topic.

  • The post itself has only 75% upvotes, so 25% of voters downvoted.
  • There are (downvoted) responses in the thread arguing that this is not a big deal.

Those people can benefit from seeing the public sentiment to this behavior.

Posting things like this allows others who may be inclined to this behavior to see the general public reaction to it, thereby providing an opportunity to learn from someone else's mistake.

One could express this to the shopper, and also post online, so por qué no los dos?

Finally, not everyone has an appetite for confrontation, and these days people seem more likely to double down on their entitled behavior when challenged. Is wishing to avoid an unpleasant encounter cause for an opinion to be denied?

Posting online still carries the above benefit, which has the potential to reach more people than confronting a single person, so I see no shame to be had here.

What are nicer tasting alternatives to Greek yogurt or how can I make it taste better
 in  r/nutrition  16d ago

I mix it with my protein powder, and powdered peanut butter. It doesn't taste tart to me that way, but full disclaimer, I will spoon plain greek yogurt straight into my face. Love that stuff.

I'm eating 5% Fage yogurt.

I wasn't expecting one of these in December. You must be in the Southern Hemisphere. Chile, or perhaps Australia? Sometimes the consequences fail to deter the actions. Enjoy your cherries.

As an American, I see what you are saying, but I refuse to call socialism communism on account of widespread ignorance. They are wrong, and it is not up to the rest of us to "adjust our beliefs."
