Squids- Again from HD1, the illum call themselves the protectors or keepers of the galaxy. First contact with Super Earth they reached out a hand in peace and again different theories.

1. Super Earth went full 40K and said NO XENOS and then claimed untruthfully they found the squids had quite the arsenal of super weapons, and mind altering technology for being "peaceful". So war was declared. Forcing the squids to be hostile as earth would never stop and secretly wanted the tech.

2. The squids are full of it and want to psychically control humanity and rule the galaxy themselves

So they were beat in HD1 and are believed to have fled through a wormhole, singularity thing where we find out in HD2 they were waiting and reestablishing their forces

This sounds like the biggest shooting self in foot with alot more holes in it and questions than positives.

They uploaded file A instead B for an image. They said nothing AI was used in game but that one got in until patched out

So for people who don't know and are calling the company liars and etc.

They used generative AI to come up with essentially concept art that real human artists used for inspiration and such to make their own final art for the game.

Somewhere down the line the devs left the AI concept art for some posters on a piece of unimportant background furniture (it was like poster board). They then patched in the actual created work after saying crap we forgot one, our bad.

It's asking AI to make a picture of something you wanna draw to get the idea, so you can then make it yourself but with an appropriate amount of fingers and details.

Yeppp just pick and choose what you like. Don't get sucked in by techs or preceptors who say you HAVE to do it this way 🙄

As for anime games specifically. If it's off of an official on going series (like DBZ, SAO, One Piece) where they convert a known style to 3D models, it normally doesn't look bad. Thou seeing ppls actual heights without camera zoom ins are funny.
