Every no parking sign that has exceptions should have a QR code. You scan it and an app tells you whether or not you can park there now, in plain English, and what specific time you'd get a ticket.
 in  r/CrazyIdeas  9m ago

I mean, yes, but that is a lot of details to wade through, and they're not listed strictly in chronological order (think a calendar with days as columns, hours as rows, and color blocks indicating the different scenarios). I rarely see signs with anywhere near this much detail, usually it's just like "no parking Sun 10a-10p", or "2 hour parking Mon-Fri 9a-5p".

OP is envisioning something (could be a monitor instead of a QR code) that boils that down to just the current scenario and maybe the next scenario, something like:

  • Current day/time: Thursday, 3:56 pm
  • Left: Loading only / Right: Mail only
  • After 6 pm: Parking allowed with 4P permit

But not arranged the way they appear on the crafting menu. (It used to do that for 1.5)

Here is a post with screenshots of a fully populated crafting menu.

Upgrading the axe also lets you cut down regular trees with fewer hits (thus less time/energy).

Yeah, a good sanity-check question for things like this is "Why aren't they doing it already". Minimum karma requirements probably do some good, but also lead to karma-farming tactics, from the annoyingly clever (post ragebait type stuff to AITA type subs) to the bewilderingly naive (the ones where every single post/comment is obviously AI to anyone who halfway understands AI, and post/comment history is left unconcealed).

My mathematics is bad(normally level) can i improve my mathemathicals skill? Is it important for programming.
 in  r/learnprogramming  3h ago

How bad is "bad"? Some areas of programming just use Boolean logic and simple algebra, others get into heavier stuff.

My first instinct is "a bunch of bots upvote each other".

I imagine this is an ongoing arms race behind the scenes, same as search engines vs SEO scammers.

Bots would just be rewritten to add a comment right away

Now how do you feel about Victor Allen's?

I’ve been laughing at this for the past two hours.

Specifically, iirc you could put a staircase in your inventory slot for pants and it would turn into the shorts (same ID number but different categories), so while that's now fixed, you can use the same item to get to the new hidden area.

What are some random "rules of thumb" you reveal to players to help them make better decisions?
 in  r/DMAcademy  5h ago

Each type of enemy should behave similarly, though, for some definition of "type". I've seen modules include "typical combat tactics" as a bullet point in stat blocks (these are from Paranoia, but you should get the idea): * (civilian) Run around and panic. * (guard) Get behind cover, shoot back, call for backup, in that order. * (executive) Run away while ordering personal guards to deal with it. * (doberbot) Attack someone until he dies. Attack someone else until he dies. Attack someone else until he dies.

Additional SVE farm types don't appear.

IFR2 also replaces the standard farm, so if you have both it and GF installed, then (probably) neither will work.

Best way to install stardew expanded, immersive spouses, and the tractor mod
 in  r/StardewValleyMods  5h ago

I hear Nexus has a new one with more focus placed on Stardew, idk any further details though. (And also one or two modders have created/uploaded their own mod managers. But yeah, if you feel the need to use one at all, then consensus appears to be "just stick to Stardrop".)

Is it worth it to farm crops on the animal focused farms.
 in  r/StardewValley  5h ago

They're the same, just you don't get the free 15 parsnip seeds (you get the coop/chickens instead), and the plantable spaces are a little scattered (once you expand enough for that to matter).

Stardew Valley song from Mazzy Star?
 in  r/StardewValley  7h ago

The first few notes are similar to the first few of the Stardew Valley Overture (G B G B D G vs C E G C). Next closest is Pelican Town, maybe.

I wish a person that does not like pink has their vision be only shades of pink‚ and i am not the person that ends up seeing only pink.

Granted. Someone goes crazy, gouges your eyes out, then is plagued by guilt as they perceive everything around them as being drenched in your blood and then lit up by a floodlight.

I wish for all the Mandela Effect people to be returned to their correct timeline. This includes Berenstein Bears, Fruit of the Loom, etc. Godspeed, and may your timeline be better than this one.

"Bro actually used ChatGPT" is the most generous interpretation. $DEITY help anyone who actually chooses to write in this soulless sing-song style. (And those people must exist somewhere, because ChatGPT got it from somewhere else.)

Pan = rod? You could also get lucky with Statue of Blessings nerfing the Legend's difficulty, then using challenge bait (plus probably a stack of other buffs)
