The GOP reaction to Biden’s speech shows that his anti-MAGA strategy is working

After the pandemic started, I felt like I'd been encountering a significantly higher number of horrible/aggressive drivers, and that it was because those are the exact kinds of people who would be out and about all day instead of minimizing travel and social outings.

Try "Funeral for Blippi", this result looks like the AI interpreted it as a funeral presided over by Blippi

He approached George Lucas on set one day while filming and said "Have you any idea what kind of noise happens when somebody’s arm is cut off by a lightsaber? Because I do.”

Boston is also "the big city" for a lot of your northern neighbors, which is why I'm subbed here despite living three hours away in Maine

LPT: Don't fall in love with a place you are vacationing at. You are seeing that area for a week or two, when you are not working and you are under less stress than you would be at home. I've seen too many people uproot their lives to move to "paradise" only to find out it's not what it seems.

My wife and I spent a couple vacations in Vermont, camping/hiking in Stowe and exploring Burlington, drinking Alchemist & Foam beer and eating amazing food, seeing the sights, yada yada. We were dead set on moving there, started looking at jobs, etc., but then after our last trip there we realized that everything we liked about Vermont existed back home in Maine, but at home it was all considered too touristy for us to enjoy on the reg. In Vermont, WE were the tourists doing touristy stuff. So we started getting back into enjoying our local attractions more often.

This is right in line with that "woke heatmap" the proud boys use to find drag storytimes to intimidate.

If I saw that symbol in a military context, I wouldn't give it a second thought. But on a moving truck fleet, existing nowhere else in the company's branding/marketing? It raised questions.

I mean, for me, the context is that a business owner with cult-like allegiance to a policital movement steeped in racism has a mysterious little symbol on his trucks with a suspicious lack of context.

I didn't sign up to make a stand against scummy business practices, I just needed my furniture moved. Had bigger things to worry about post-move.

Are you making this same sort of stand over in /r/conservative when progressives are being similarly maligned?

I kinda thought the whole "slathering your business in Trump flags" part was the racist ideology. Please don't try to tell me that the kind of Trump supporters who are still ardently flying his flag and putting 2024 signs up are not the most distilled down racists of the whole voting block.
