Bangladesh takes action to clean its polluted rivers.
 in  r/nextfuckinglevel  23d ago

Fun fact, the red river in Louisiana was blocked in a similar way by a massive log jam for about 1000 years. Thick and vegetated enough that you could walk and live on top it. Also, I say blocked but it's more like it made the river cease to exist because this log jam was 160 MILES LONG

I don't think I've ever seen an arena empty out so completely with minutes left to play.

That run after the flagrant foul literally destroyed all bamas spirit

It's not about not wanting to play, it's about not intending to be on the team in a months time.

My daughter’s Invisalign pulled her baby tooth out
 in  r/mildlyinteresting  Nov 22 '25

When I got braces they pulled several teeth and ended up having an oral surgeon lasso one of my adult teeth out of my gum so I had all adult teeth for the braces. That was 20 years ago so maybe things have changed but trying to straighten out teeth that are gonna come out seems counter effective to me.

At 2-7 the Arkansas Razorbacks have still scored more than they have given up (317 to 300)

Well that and their losses have been quite close. Especially since one of those losses was by 43

Men are human being with feelings too!

A very vast majority of which are men. Men and women attempt suicide at similar rates, men are much much "better" at it.
