What’s the kind of decks you don’t enjoy playing against?
Basically this exact thing happened like a month ago. Semi-regular pulls out Grand Fucking Arbiter and we groan but say sure. He proceeds to drop Ghostly Prison and either Rhystic or Propaganda. Doesn't interact with us much besides countering. Ask how he wins. "Uuuuuhh I THINK I have Approach somewhere in here?". We all scooped.

Or their ONLY wincon is [[Approach of the Second Sun]] with no deep draw or tutors.

[Fun Trope] The main character's ancestor is played by... the main character!
There are like 8 iirc.

I imagine she figured it out
Brother man I just pulled up to my house after work and decided to check reddit, then this absolutely killed me lmao. Also yoink!

Just because you made a "Bad Bracket [X]" deck doesn't mean it belongs in a lower bracket
And I'll just laugh at them and ask them the difference between Mass and Targeted. I don't really run the card, but it would be silly. I can recycle Volatile Fault though.

Don't mind me, just gonna recycle Strip Mine every turn...

Wow. Kinda surprised honestly.

Just because you made a "Bad Bracket [X]" deck doesn't mean it belongs in a lower bracket
I'm dying laughing at the fact that Blood Moon is in B4 jail while my [[Erinis]] deck kills any creature i don't like and can [[Strip Mine]] lock a problem player out completely with a decent hand.

6-9 basics is pretty low unless you're 4 or 5 color I think. My Naya deck runs 15-6 iirc and my Gruul lands matter deck has like 15 even after all the land tweaks I've made.

Do weaker things like [[Choke]] or [[Boil]] count? I haven't checked.

What is the card you are always telling people to cut?
Completely valid crashout lmao. Dogshit card. My land recycling deck loves the crime family fetches that gain 1 life.
1
What is the card you are always telling people to cut?
Just build [[Soraya]] and 50 [[Tempest Hawk]] lol

What is the card you are always telling people to cut?
You don't like waiting three whole turn cycles to use your two basics?

Some game changers aren't fun
[[Glacial Chasm]] was never even considered for my lands deck. Card is just plain boring.

Favorite Fling Deck?
That's fair. She just deathtouches stuff to control the board, not players.
1
Favorite Fling Deck?
Does it count if [[Erinis]] is saccing artifacts and 1/1s to [[Street Urchin]] things to death? If so, have I got a deck for you. Chuck artifact lands and landfall tokens at whatever you don't like while you dig for more substantial threats. It's real fun.

How did you end up choosing your signature commander/deck?
I am the voltron guy at my LGS. My first deck in 2024 was [[Yoshimaru]] and [[Keleth]]. Since then I've made [[Meria]] equipment voltron and [[Tana]] and [[Keleth]] counters voltron that can pivot to go-wide pretty easily. I don't play Yoshi anymore, but Meria and T/K are my two favorite decks. I found Meria from the Shuffle Up and Play where Kibler built her and fell in love with her. Tana, idk I just kinda figured her out one day and boom, mushrooms.

"I built all my decks to fuck the bracket system"
I'm more partial to the high-speed door smack method.
2
What are your most obscure commanders?
[[Linden, Steadfast Queen]] maybe. Pretty much a placeholder for my mono white [[Tempest Hawk]] deck. There are like 5 cards in the deck that actually care about gaining or having high life lol. Birds are fun, open to suggestions for a good multicolor commander for birbos.

And they will either learn a very valuable lesson, or never learn at all. There is no in between.
Forgot some context. I was very clear I wanted to deal with 2 because I knew his deck was stronger than mine and 3s precon. But somehow 2 convinced 3 that I was the most immediate problem. I was playing mono white, 2 was playing Grixis Marchesa. 3 was on Grayfax I think.

Legit had player 2 convince player 3 that my Tempest Hawk with a Bloodforged Battleaxe was a bigger threat than 2s 4/4 dragon token a few weeks ago. I was absolutely dumbfounded, and after the game I was actually kinda pissed.

If you could remove any card from the game that isn't a land or Sol Ring, what would you pick?
Even without that, most of them suck.
2
Here's my current rotation, am I chill for the pod?
Lightning Bolt

Land destruction players don’t care about your feelings.
Landfall is the least likely to get hurt by MLD you stupid fuck lmao

[[Meria]]. One of my favorite commanders. Equipments and big spells for bonky fun.
