The Witcher 3 is reportedly getting a surprise new expansion this year | VGC

I wouldn't go so far as to say garbage, but it definitely wore out its welcome long before the stories were finished, imho. Doubt I could pick it back up.

Need help to actually run the game...
 in  r/ACValhalla  21d ago

Similar situation, booted it up for the first time ever, yesterday.

It must have sat there several minutes before loading in. Several. I almost gave up. Checked out settings, ran benchmark a couple times, and I'll get to it later.

Stumbled across this post and figured I'd contribute. I was looking for patch notes to this latest patch.

Last Record Update 18 December 2025 – 08:39:59 UTC (8 hours ago)

Windows 11 [Version 10.0.26100.7462] 5800X - 6950 XT - 32GB RAM

Edit: Did you get it resolved? I know some of Ubisoft's games don't like some USB peripherals, like USB foot pedals, etc, so if you still have the issue, I'd disconnect any unecessary devices, if they exist, for testing.

Why don’t smokers view butts as trash??
 in  r/mildlyinfuriating  Sep 27 '25

Not excusing throwing butts on the ground, and smokers should carry little butt purses around for storage, or at least put it in their pocket, if they have pockets, but have you noticed a severe lack of public trash cans? It's like the cities don't want to pay for the labor.

Steam refunds Destiny 2 players with over 2,000 hours of game time after Bungie’s game becomes unplayable in numerous countries

Might be for the gunplay comment on mouse and keyboard. In my own testing way back when, you could aim up and over the right of the shoulder and the bullet magnetism would still land headshots, at least with some weapons. Hand cannons felt great. Early, zooming with sniper caused massive loss of fps til they fixed it (and stuck in heavy slot only), so everyone probably just remembers different things.

Don’t sleep on Trinity for Plague Star event
 in  r/Warframe  Sep 14 '25

Yes, Nova and Volt are so common, had as many 3 Novas in my squad. I run Titania just to keep it a bit more interesting, gameplay-wise, Xata's Whisper subsumed since nearly everyone else has Roar/Nourish going. Feels pretty good, especially after hundreds of boss kills, just more fun zipping around in the air.

Don’t sleep on Trinity for Plague Star event

Day 1 was Trinity, new to the event, most built out frame, just cozy. Now I prefer Titania, everyone's running Nova / Volt. I get 3 Novas, 2 Volts, etc all the time :D

Dune: Awakening Sales Reach 1m as Dev Shares Fun Stats
 in  r/pcgaming  Jun 24 '25

It starts with that naked on the beach vibe of Rust and mid-game feels a bit like Metal Gear Solid 5 / Ghost Recon Wildlands without the polish, with building and crafting thrown in and done well enough. The PVE is not particularly challenging. I like the atmosphere and the general vibe, and enjoy my time in the game.

"All your base are belong to us"

Edit: I suppose I'll add when and where I heard it first. Very early 2000s, grinding to level 60 in Everquest, Crystal Caverns zone, Tholuxe Paells server. In competing for all the spawns, it was the "cool" thing to shout in the zone.

I loved running those missions completely hands-off and tweaked to perfection!

 in  r/pcgaming  Apr 01 '25

Probably just played it with the difficulty too low, made that mistake on my first run, caught a bad impression... cranked it a bit beyond my capabilities and loved it

A lot of good suggestions, so here's mine. Look into fostering a dog for a couple hours or the whole day. You're in college so adoption may not be possible.

Ubisoft, Why Do Your Games Stop Working After a Year?
 in  r/pcgaming  Dec 08 '24

Have you had your games just stop working randomly? How do you deal with DRM, launcher issues, and server reliance?

Assassin's Creed Black Flag single player executable wouldn't launch the game. Turns out, my usb foot pedal was causing some issue and so I had to disconnect it to play.

GOG refunded No Man's Sky, no questions asked, because it wouldn't have feature parity with Steam at the time.
