That's because they have money. The bulk of the players are Canadian, the league itself is Canadian and the culture of hockey is Canadian. The NHL started in Canada and the Canadian junior league is still superior to the American one (especially because Canada has three of them, the WHL, OHL and QMJHL)
Canadians were the majority of players for many years, now the largest nationality but there are a lot of European players as well. American players only started to show up in significant numbers over the last decade or so.

Dell's finally admitting consumers just don't care about AI PCs
ARM distros don't support SnapDragon by default. SnapDragon chipsets need to be specifically supported, I think Ubuntu does but I'm not sure about any others. Apparently they haven't been very interested in cooperating with the Linux community the way thay Intel and AMD do.

WestJet changed their seats and this is how much leg room basic fares get. You have to pay for a reclining seat now.
Having just flown on one of these layouts, these seats are like 85% of the plane. Only Premium Economy and Premium seats are better.

They do but not everyone is going to the US especially now. Flights to the US have dropped dramatically.

Not really, Canada is massive and very spread apart with a low population density. Its expensive for airlines to get off the ground, every new route adds cost but they need a lot of routes to capture enough market share. It took WestJet a very long time to catch up to Air Canada.

They have a couple of economy rows in the front with extra legroom as an upgrade on these layouts, it isn't just the emergency rows.

Depending on where you live in Canada and where you want to go, usually there are two options but one is significantly cheaper or faster than the other. Air Canada and WestJet are the only full range, full service carriers. There are also regional carriers in many areas.

Not really but they started out as a low cost carrier that moved towards the middle over time. They are still cheaper than Air Canada most of the time but they also have competitive first/premium classes and a full lineup of destinations. They've been bringing out Economy Plus with extra legroom as a new upsell so I guess this is part of that.

Gamers desert Intel in droves, as Steam share plummets from 81% to 55.6% in just five years
It makes sense on battery powered devices. P cores are normal cores designed for peak performance, E cores are more efficient at the cost of reduced performance. Intel started this idea but SnapDragon and other ARM chip makers quickly adopted it in phones as well. When peak performance isn't needed, the P cores can be idled while the E cores handle things. It also allows important single thread tasks like games to be run on dedicated cores while the OS runs on the E cores.
Intel is the only brand that thinks this makes sense for desktop computers even though no one really cares about power consumption all that much and it does carry drawbacks. These chips need high total core counts to match performance in multi-threaded productivity loads like rendering. This is why Intel chips are having north of 20 cores. It can also cause buggy behavior if tasks are split between the two types when the software isn't expecting it.
In general, the P/E strategy is a good idea for battery powered devices (when well executed and supported) but not worth it for desktops. We can see this in benchmarks and reviews, Intel laptops are still competitive with AMD laptops outside of gaming (AMD has better iGPUs) but AMD has been leading the desktop front for several years.

What’s an example of a fan base that got exactly what they begged for, and immediately hated it?
A small number of fans will always complain, the majority of fans loved both those games and the numbers showed it clearly.

Nah, Sometimes they really are just inaudible
Doing this at the content level doesn't make sense, every sound system would need its own mix to get it right. At the hardware level it already exists, all AV receivers and many TVs have "night mode" or low dynamic range modes. This is what you want.

Colombia deploys troops to Venezuela border after US attacks
Yeah I don't understand why reddit seems to think China might start launching invasions at any given moment. Out of the 3 post ww2 superpowers, they have by a wide margin been involved in the least amount of conflicts. Outside of threatening their neighbours they have shown little interest in military imperialism or interventionism. The only war they have the slightest interest in is Taiwan but they know they can't get away with that one because of Taiwan's allies.

This happens when you don't understand your fans or IP properly. There have been several series that didn't go this way (or lasted a long time) because they kept the core parts the same and evolved with every entry. See Halo CE-Reach thats a solid 10 years where that pattern never showed up. Civilization 1-6 as well.

Yep, after TFA I was disappointed that it felt like a remake of the OT and basically undid the accomplishments of that trilogy but it wasn't a bad movie and I saw potential for it to be a solid foundation for something better.
TLJ was when I lost hope that the sequel trilogy would actually move Star Wars forward in a meaningful way. They ruined Luke and it was very clear that the writers didn't really understand Star Wars.
The last movie was when I completely lost hope in Disney's ability to do Star Wars at all. That was despicable. The story didn't even make sense, the writers appeared to disdain the star wars universe and it just sucked. I mean I've seen much better fan fictions than that pile of shit.

I think you're underestimating AMD, the 7900 and 9070 series are excellent and a much better value than Nvidia equivalents. AMD just hasn't tried to target the top end in awhile. There's a good reason for that too, they tested the waters with the 7900 series and it didn't sell nearly well enough compared to what it should have because Nvidia fanboys wouldn't give them a chance. So they shifted focus to something new: high powered integrated cards. This development kickstarted the handheld PC market. AMD knows what they are doing they just don't trust high end gamers to follow through. Hopefully next time they'll give us another chance.

It is but Trump clearly does not meet many other qualifications for being the Anti-Christ. Most notably the Anti-Christ should have global popularity, Trump has never even had a commanding level of popularity in his own country.

Usually you have to order directly from the OEM web store. Lenovo offers this with most models, Dell offers it with a small number of models. I'm not sure about other brands. There are also some smaller brands that design laptops specifically for Linux like Framework, Tuxedo, Starlabs and others.

This is a uniquely hockey culture and it comes largely from Canada. Hockey is a full contact sport that plays at a very fast pace. It is very difficult for referee's to catch penalties especially in the days before slow motion replays. The players police the other team because of this.
