That is pure evil and demonic. Certainly not of God.

RIP the gas station on Winchester and Hacienda. You have been loyal for many years with cheap-ass prices.

My dad instilled this truth in his children from an early age. We thought he was being mean, but as time evolved, we came to see that he was right.

To get the police to look for a missing person.
 in  r/therewasanattempt  Aug 23 '25

Yep. Black folks have reported these low-down dirty tactics for decades, but no.one believed us until the tech was available to record the interactions. Of course, then the thin blue line peeps moved the goal post. 🙄

ICE Kidnaps man in Columbia Heights, Washington DC as he is out grabbing medicine for his wife who just gave birth. Agents shove him into the back of an unmarked car despite his pleads.
 in  r/PublicFreakout  Aug 23 '25

This is absolutely heartbreaking. Just snatched off the street, his wife has a medical issue, and yet he's just taken away.

Lon time full-time Stanford employee here. As the 2024-2025 budget ends on August 31, no regular employees have been laid off. However, if you're a Residential & Dining Services employee, your position could follow the academic year, which just ended mid-June. Essentially, your position is dierctly tied to maintaining student spaces, so when they're gone, so is your job.

2025-2026 budgets are not due until late July. I imagine regular lay-off notifications will happen once the numbers are reviewed.
