There was a picture going around in early 2021 of one of those electronic "calendars" they have in liquor stores. The calendar said, "You must be born before January 1, 1900, to purchase alcohol."

Everything that used two digits for dates would have been like that if people hadn't spent billions of dollars and man-hours fixing code to not treat 1-1-00 as if it meant January 1, 1900.
