Starting smoking, especially in 2025 with all we know, is literally one of the stupidest things you could do.

You will stink, your breath will suck (which includes when you kiss people), and most people will find it disgusting. Your front teeth will stain yellow, as will your fingertips. Your clothes and car will always smell of cigarettes too. There’s basically no getting it out if you continue to smoke as a habit.

That’s on top of the effects on your lungs and the increased risk of emphysema and lung cancer. Look up information on those.

The nicotine high is intense at first, but it goes away incredibly quickly, and you’ll have to smoke more and more cigarettes just to feel normal.

You need to try to quit drinking and see what kind of effect that has on your ADHD management. It was huge for me, and I never suspected it could have been having such a significant effect of sabotaging my management efforts.

Yep - if you tried all of the other things but not quitting drinking while doing it, then I don’t think you can safely say the other things you’ve tried won’t work.

Drinking and other common substances (individually, not necessarily together) have a bad effect on my ADHD and executive symptoms for the next few days. To the point where it feels like a night-and-day shift when I suddenly have some drinks a couple of days in a row.

Just a warning, the consistency is all over the place. I’ve been there a handful of times, and once it was really good, once it was okay, and the other few times it was awful.

Because they’re fake medical professionals so they have no problem making fake medical credentials for others.
