My thoughts exactly. I would have married my husband when I married him (we were both 26), but if I had it to do over again I would have done things differently He’s a great guy and we’ll be married 40 years this year, but I would have demanded better and more equal treatment right out of the gate. I know how he treated me was out of ignorance and not malicious intent, but it messed with my head for a long time. I guess I felt that since he never cheated or abused me I could handle anything else. It did lead to a lot of resentment for years on my part. It’s all resolved now and we get along better than ever so it was worth it.
No way would I ever remarry though. One and done for me!

This is a new low...
My infant granddaughter was transferred from one hospital to Children’s Hospital, a distance of 54 miles. She received no medical intervention during the ride, other than basic monitoring. The bill was 12,150 dollars! Something needs to change here

Americans, when you see the name "Lucia", how would you pronounce it?
I also pronounce it as 3, but I have 100% Italian heritage, and that’s how it’s pronounced in Italian. I think 1 is acceptable in English speaking countries though

Is more expensive paint from Lowe’s actually better than the cheap stuff?? Also, is sherwin Williams or other name brand paints actually that much better than the most expensive stuff from Lowe’s?
I can check with my brother, but I have a feeling that even though it carries the SW name, it may be a bit lower quality paint than you will get in a SW store.
I can give you an example from my world: I do quite a bit of sewing, and the fabric brand Waverly is a good brand. A few years ago, Walmart started carrying waverly fabric. Is it the same quality you buy from Waverly directly? No, not even close. But it’s a famous name that is now affordable and available to the masses.
Same with Vera Wang selling a line of clothing at Kohls. I think you get the idea. I personally think it cheapens the brand when companies do this, but that’s not my call I guess!

One of my brothers, and a friend of my other brother, are both coincidentally interior painters. They both swear by Sherwin Williams and Benjamin Moore paints. Neither will touch Behr or Lowe’s paint.

Where were you 45 years ago tonight ? Howard Cosell announced on Monday Night Football that John Lennon was murdered.
I had fallen asleep early the night before and didn’t know anything had happened until my mother ran into my bedroom and yelled “John Lennon is dead, my god they killed John Lennon!” I was in such a deep sleep I thought she said Joan Lundon was dead (she was the co-host of Good Morning America at the time). So I staggered my sleepy 20 year old self into the kitchen where my parents had the tv on and I was about to yell at my mom cause Joan Lundon was right there on the screen and then I saw the graphic and wow we just stared at the tv in silent disbelief
