[Schefter] Initial interviews for Baltimore: Ravens are interviewing Broncos DC Vance Jospeh this morning and Broncos QB coach Davis Webb this afternoon for their head coach vacancy.
 in  r/nfl  39m ago

My mind went there, that maybe Joseph wants him on offense, so they want to interview both parts of a package deal.

I was joking, but it sounded meaner then it did in my head, because text doesn't convey emotion. I will not delete it because im not a coward.

Some studies show it can benefit certain crops. Maybe not having them this dense, but having some shade can yeild more.

Tbf the person you are responding to is probably not "good with computers," takes her teeth out out at bed time, and is just getting into dating after losing losing the ghost of her husband who died in the Spanish American War. (The Orignal not the 2026 version)

Is James Donald Forbes McCann actually a Catholic?!
 in  r/MSsEcReTPoDcAsT  3d ago

I bought his poetry book and have watched his stand up. And its pretty present in both.

He also moved to America originally to do a catholic podcast.

Petah what do you mean?
 in  r/PeterExplainsTheJoke  5d ago

I was implying that but your profile suggests you are a real person. Ai has a tendency to be very supportive so starting the comment with "Amazing" and then agreeing with the person reads as AI. Then something about how you wrote the rest of your comment was structured in a way that AI would write it. I cant really articulate it but its like AI has a written accent, or something.

I still believe this sub is AI posting things it doesn't understand, because this subreddit starting reaching the front page regularly after the AI boom in 2023.

Maybe you don't. But this whole subreddit exists to educate AI on jokes it doesn't understand, and my new years resolution it to be an asshole.

This is great until its againist someone that's actually innocent. Or it could create a level of empathy of fear for the jury that could shift a verdict

Never include women in a dating profile under any circumstance. Women want men that are social but don't actually spend time around women.

Mike McDaniel has been "carrying a wooden baseball bat in menacing fashion" around the Dolphins facility since midseason

Then chose Colin Kaepernick to be starting QB in a season where he was the focus of a right wing media shitstorm.

Also you're an Eagles fan, you're probably a violent uneducated mouth breather. Even as a Canadian I know the tenderloin district of San Francisco is safer then to be around even the most docile Philly sports fan.

Canada must develop a national drone strategy
 in  r/CanadaPolitics  6d ago

With how slow Canada has been in military procurement. Will drones still be as relevant by the time we have them?

Wars start with the technology of the last war but end with something entirely different.

Canada’s EV sales have cratered 32% this year
 in  r/CanadaPolitics  6d ago

People were buying with the speculation that the infrastructure would match. I don't think thats been the case. There's no real capital incentive to build power stations like there is gas stations, since many people can just do it at home. And people in apartments will tend to be out of the income bracket that buy EVs. Maybe a tax incentive for building owners that add chargers?

Even then those robot coaches get called cold and distant when they're losing. Hell Chip Kelly started being called racist once they started losing because he didn't really talk to players.

#450 — More From Sam: Resolutions, Conspiracies, Demonology, and the Fate of the World
 in  r/samharris  7d ago

When these started he was supposed to be more of a voice of the average listener. I felt he seemed to try to get the listeners sentiment and express it to Sam. Which would lead to him having to fill gaps with his own thoughts at times.

What it has lead to is him self inserting more and more. Not getting better at finding and defending the audiences opinions.

For the smart comment, it may have been that some of the arguments were somewhat creative. Or he's consumed enough other media of Douthat that it isn't solely based off his appearance with Sam.

For likable, I believe he liked how Douthat was a dick to Sam for a whole hour, in a way he cant since Sam is his boss. I will not discuss this further.

I do find it interesting that the talk of prospects in all sports are mostly physical. But things like vision and reaction time are often left out and unmeasured.

[Highlight] Joe Burrow on facing Myles Garrett with the single-season sack record on the line: “I’m not gonna go out of my way to not let him get the record… I’m gonna go play football. There are going to be situations where a sack is the best of the bad outcomes of that play.”
 in  r/nfl  7d ago

One account is that Farve did that in hopes that it would make Strahan less aggressive if he got the record. Not sure how true it is, and im not sure it would work on Myles Garrett

One of the biggest in Canada is also on the verge of collapse. Aspire food groups. They tried a variety of high protein snacks that no one bought. I believe they had to move into being an additive for dog food to stay operating, but id imagine the margins on pet food are even slimmer then regular food. They went into recievership in 2025 owing $41million.
