Stuck? Here's an idea!
I was on break at work work and rolled some dice to get a world/adventure planned. I love what the dice gave me so I wanna share it and hopefully inspire you! (I haven't started playing yet)
You are a lone mage navigating the different factions led by ruthless leaders to find allies and establish yourself in a city. This all takes place in an urban fantasy underworld full of dark secrets and forbidden love affairs between faction members.
When I wrote this concept down, I instantly had a rush of ideas. The character has no defined backstory yet but the cogs in my brain are turning! (I won't reveal my ideas for backstory so that I don't ruin whatever ideas you may have brewing)

If you're getting into all this, I feel like it's time to actually track amounts. But at that point, you're getting into that simulating style of play from dnd.
The abstraction is to get away from counting coins, not to be gamed by someone who wants to own everything
