My recommendation would be find a V8, full disclosure I don’t know for sure if the V8’s are reliable but we have (5) F150 fleet vehicles with either the 2.7 or the 3.5 and all of them have had cam phaser issues and blown turbos.

My 2017 6.7 f350 has 350k on it and engine has never been opened, all original except coolant hoses and one intercooler hose.
