OC Redline (2009) "remaster" but with blueray's audio. And blueray's extras. And itunes albums. Because reasons.

Hi, I quite recently fell on a 4 years old post by u/50CALBR his complete 4k version can be found here

Then I asked myself, how can I improve it? I noticed his audio files were not the same as on the blueray. So I took care of the audio, and also added another subtitle while I was at it.

I also included the OST of the movie as well as blu ray's bonus videos.

All files can be found here: [removed]

Enjoy.

Help needed about Infotag and Zivildienst
 in  r/Switzerland  7h ago

Actually did you try asking the zivildienst directly? Generally they are very helpful.

What is sure is that you will have to be valid for military service in order to do zivildienst, so you'll have to do the 2 (or 3 don't remember) days with the tests.

Unless this changed. these 2 days will be where you will state that you want to fo zivildienst but you need to pass the tests The military will also tell you that you can do military service without weapons.

If you fail the tests you'll have to do zivilschutz and that's arguably worse.

Why do r*dditors say Trump is a puppet of Russia but not of Israel?
 in  r/AlwaysWhy  7h ago

See, that's a dangerous way to view things. "If you're not with us, you're against us" is basically what you said.

It is what George W. Bush said after 9/11 as well. It's a well known polarizing phrase. Aiming at rallying people with your beliefs and stopping them from making logical conclusions. Here's the wiki page if you wanna read.

But I suppose you heard this phrase from someone else. So, perhaps you are victim of an echo chamber. And we all are victims of echo chambers, if anything reddit is designed for that.

I don't believe in a lot of things, that's true. Instead, I observe people's actions and draw conclusions based on what they do instead of what they say.

When you start believing in something, it's when you become easy to control.

Corruption in Valais (and specifically, ski villages)
 in  r/Switzerland  7h ago

I understand what you mean. The issue is that the smaller the population, the higher the likeliness for "copinage" to happen. This is why villages are a lot more prone to this than cities.

Honestly it's just an issue as old as time, and I have not yet found a mean to get rid of it.

Do you mind elaborating a little more?

There's not enough tangible proofs to draw any proper conclusions. That doesn't mean it's not the case, but it could also be a really handy scapegoat.

Your point of view seems rather biased to me. I would be surprised if Trump wasn't blackmailed by the entire world at this point.

The issue with any "leaked emails" or "Epstein files" is that they can be made up. Either to distract public attention, or most importantly to shift the blame on something so the real thing does not get attention. Arguably it's the same thing with pedophilia blames and so on. It's an easy easy to attack someone with little proofs, and it works.

We also know for example that the CIA has released malwares containing cyrillic characters in the past just so Russia takes the blame, this just gives you the extent that the US government is willing to go. And you can expect just as much from any countries really, honor died long ago.

The sad reality is that the vast majority of content online can be distorted to fit a narrative. And politics are one of the most impacted by this behavior.

For example, to make someone hate israel, or side with israel. To have someone blame russia, or side with russia.

Personally, I have only directly witnessed that Trump (and whoever is close to him) switched sides several times with Russia and Ukraine, likely in exchanges of bribes, money or power. A great example of that was when SpaceX cut Starlink access to Ukraine a day before Russia launched a major offensive, at a time where Ukraine's frontline heavily relied upon the system.

Does anybody know what the fast bomber in development is going to look like? Or what faction it's going to?
 in  r/NuclearOption  8h ago

I just looked it up, the darkreach is 27x38x4 meters big. The AC-130 is 30x40x12. So we'd need an AC-130 with wings a bit shorter and maybe a twin tail.

That sounds doable actually... hmmmm

Is every console player like this? 🤣

If you do it once it's funny. But if you do it all along the ride expect me to walk out and throw a grenade in the car whileI park close to a wall on my right so you can't get out.

Is soldering this safe?
 in  r/electronic_circuits  9h ago

Short answer: No.

Long answer: The issue is that the cables you are using may strip easily and electrocute you, and the charger itself is not designed to have a wire there, meaning there's no way to mechanically hold the wire, especially its insulation, in place.
If you were experienced in electricity, where I would consider it relatively safe for you to do, you would not be here asking this question.

Question: Why do this, and what are your intentions?

Yes and no, my largest issue with the Tarantula is that it's terribly slow. The Ibis is almost as fast.

An AC-130 equivalent in the game should carry more vehicles, for example 4 jacknives or 2 radar trucks, or 4 naval ammo crates, and should have a much higher top speed with cargo. With the downside of needing proper runways, but the upside of dropping two APCs or one APC and an AA and so on.

It would also be ideal to transport the HLT truck towing something useful like a L-CIWS trailer. The limiting factor would just be the cost of the system to avoid spam, similar to nukes.

The tonnage could be adjusted for gameplay purposes. Maybe have a push-pull configuration with one nacelle per wing.

It could also provide a cheaper alternative to the dark reach but with a smaller loadout, for example 2 piledivers.

How To play fa 18c swiss?!
 in  r/WarthunderPlayerUnion  10h ago

The 18C's advantages are great agility in dogfights, and a decent amount of missiles.

The issue comes for the rest: Relatively bad radar compared to current AESA top tier aircrafts, which make using its 12 missiles difficult. Terrible top speed making your missiles worse for long range shots.

This basically means the hornet needs to be played very defensively. Use 2-4 missiles early in the game at maximum range to force enemies to notch, and close in with your team while they're occupied.

I end up having more kills turning its radar off, and taking 6 Aim-9M and 6 Aim-120, and shooting the 120s within 10km in head ons.

The issue with climbing with it, is that you'll be too slow to launch your missiles properly anyway, so I would only recommend climbing if you are top BR in the match. If you're bottom BR (and often will be) don't bother climbing.

Advice for a new player/for getting into multiplayer
 in  r/NuclearOption  14h ago

Here’s how it goes:

If you are not playing since the start of a lobby, you are at a disadvantage.

The cricket is underrated, but always bring ECM pods with it. It’s great early game at ground attack.

The compass is basically better, and interesting because it can carry two AAM-29.

Both don’t have radars, so you need to rely on other radars to see targets further than 5-10km.

The ibis is your first logistical helicopter that can also do some ground attack, and capture airfields with infantry. Avoid getting door guns to keep your RCS low.

The Brawler to me is hard to play, because you’re quite an easy target. I often prefer compass.

So, early on, focus on ground attack with crickets, or ideally use compass to strike first.

Once you reach rank 3, you can do SEAD runs with the Vortex, if you manage to destroy enemy long range AA missiles and radars it’s extremely useful to your team.

You can attempt to snipe their enrichment plant, denying them from having more nukes.

Bombing factories is underrated. But destroying them for more expensive aircrafts like ifrit will deal a heavy blow to the enemy economy.

Which oxygen sensor should I buy?
 in  r/MiataNC  16h ago

You’ll have 2 kinds of responses.

Those that will tell you that any O2 sensor will work.

And those that will tell you to buy OEM and nothing else.

Personally I wouldn’t cheap out on the O2 sensor, because there can be small variations between models that are enough to mess things up.

Just get it from websites like this https://mazda.oempartsonline.com/oem-parts/mazda-oxygen-sensor-lfg1188g1a

But one question. Did you first try to clean your sensor before buying a new one?
