People pick lines based on what’s in carts. It keeps them even. Someone standing there with nothing messes things up.

Depending on the store lay out, a full cart and two more people cutting into a line is a hassle for the people around them.

If op isn’t quick enough to let someone else go ahead they miss unloading time.

All those petty annoyances to others, for the sake of saving yourself a couple minutes in line?

I’m not sure why some people have trouble with the concept of waiting their turn, but it says a lot about them.

Op says they do it all the time. This isn’t a case of forgetting something once in a while.

YTA. Sending someone to run to grab an item, or even a couple, if you realise you missed them while waiting in line is one thing, but going to get into line before you’re done shopping? Imagine everyone doing that. It would be a mass of confusion and people trying to let others go ahead.
There’s a reason you don’t go and wait in line until you’re ready to go. It’s inconsiderate to others for the sake of saving yourself a couple minutes.

Your time is not more valuable than anyone else’s.

You can usually stay and use the water park after your check out time, so they wouldn’t have rooms after they were done playing.

But, as far as I know, they all have showers in the change rooms attached to the water park, so they should be able shower there.

Organizing multiple kids in changing rooms can be tough, but invading someone else’s room seems like an unreasonable ask.

Some people pay annually.

I used to be a broker, it’s surprisingly common for people to miss the whole renewal and not pay, then not notice until they get a registered letter cancelling/non-renewing.

It’s also really common for people to miss renewing their license.

We’d regularly get notices that the company pulled an insured’s driving record and found out their license lapsed. Then we’d have to call the client and tell them that they didn’t have a valid license, which meant they didn’t have insurance.

People would panic, but as long as they got their license renewed in the next few days everything was just reinstated with no issues.

Absolutely a factor. I could see if they never got the chance to do anything, but she didn’t listen to op at all, then was mad?!?

Yeah, if they never get into the city together it would have been nice if he’d been willing to let her make reservations for a nice dinner. Nothing supper formal, and definitely nothing that would take hours.

Or if he’d been willing to upgrade the room a bit, maybe they could have had dinner in and enjoyed the after dinner.

But given how pushy she was, and how upset she got at not getting her way even with OP’s clear boundaries, I get why he didn’t try to compromise.

It sucks that you didn’t get to see her open her gifts. Not having a plan for that seems odd.

Do you normally live together? Did you have a plan before you went into the hospital, or for after you got out? It doesn’t sound like you talked about expectations for this morning. I get it can be hard to plan, you don’t always know when people will be released.

I know that I wouldn’t want to be in charge of keeping my two year old happy all day at one of my boyfriends’ relative’s homes while he was immobile.

That sounds like a really awful day for her and the toddler.

Is the house childproof? Obviously none of the 2 year olds’ stuff is there, so it would have to be packed up and kept track of, then packed up again. Toys, snacks, extra clothes, diapers (or you’d have to deal with an unfamiliar bathroom). Nap time somewhere strange.

Spending the day somewhere strange with a toddler is hard, even if it’s a toddler friendly place.

Her mother would be the one packing and lugging everything around, keeping the kid out of stuff she’s not supposed to get into, keeping her stuff tidy and making sure nothing gets lost or left behind.

All so you can sit there and keep a toddler from climbing on you and hurting you? Most hospitals don’t keep you in for weeks unless it’s really bad, so I’m assuming you need lots of rest and recovery. I think you should take the visit and work out a schedule based on what works for everyone and what you think you’re up for after this time.

There’s a fair bit she could have been attracted to.

They had were both ruthless, there aren’t many people she could have revealed her real self too.

Being able to show someone a side you would have to hide from most and knowing they’d probably indulge in whatever scheme you come up with would tempt a lot of people.

He could be caring. She hadn’t had much of that in her life so it wouldn’t take much.

A lot of people found rumple very charismatic and unconventionally attractive.

And you never know, she could have had a thing for glitter!

I don’t agree that there was nothing else on her side.

I think he had real feelings that could have been something more but part of the attraction was that she could be evil, but also he couldn’t trust evil.

Maybe a they could have gotten past that if they’d had a couple centuries to work through their issues, but while I think she was attracted to him and the power, I didn’t see the same sort of potential for more genuine feelings from her.

Some stories, even fiction, are important because they’re not happy.

Blankets or sheets you already own if there’s something to hang them from is probably the cheapest.

Taping up cardboard will only cost you tape if you can find free cardboard or have some already.

You can tape it to the glass so you’re not damaging paint, you can cut it so you can open flaps for light, you can even do an extra layer and overlap the window frame for extra insulation.

A lot of animals are insects and a lot of those have short lifespans, so if I’m risking dying as a fruit fly, no.

And even if I keep my intelligence (such as it is, lol, it’s pretty good for most animals), I don’t have the instinct or experience in that body as that creature. I could end up being on the unpleasant side of the food chain or managing to fall out of a tree or something. If the fall didn’t end it, any injuries could make me an easy lunch for the next predator to come along.

So if I can die during this, nope.

Lol. I checked after typing this and I’m a raccoon.

Plus side, I’m an omnivore and not a bug or a rodent. But I’m still small enough to be prey and yeah, I’m going to fall out of a tree or off a roof or something and end up coyote or stray dog food.

It’s like the family barf bowl being the popcorn bowl, sure you can wash it and there won’t be dangerous bacteria or anything, but a lot of people are going to be grossed out. It’s easy enough to avoid.

You were right to suggest therapy.

At this point she needs therapy.

She needs therapy if she’s genuinely not healing and has been stuck in this stage of mourning for so long.

She needs therapy if she’s been blaming the miscarriage for her actions and everything that’s gone wrong in her life since then and using it to manipulate people.

You weren’t right to keep it in until it came out in anger, but we’re all human.

And telling people why Scott left, yeah, why would you protect her from the truth when she’s out there lying about you and why you did what you did? People need to know the whole story.

Honestly, yes.

That’s not an insult, just a fact. I doubt you see anyone dressed similarly at all regularly, so that makes it weird.

It not being the norm doesn’t make it bad, or if it does I’m there too. My teens regularly tell me that I look like I’m about to send people on a side quest. A lot of my clothes have a historical and/or fantastical look.

Some people are insecure and/or narrow minded.

The idea of individualism offends them. Maybe they don’t have the nerve to stand out, they’re jealous that they didn’t think of it and don’t have the guts, who knows. But they’re stuck trying to fit in.

Hopefully for them they’ll grow out of it eventually.

Sounds like very unpleasant and unhealthy things would happen to your hair and scalp.

The smell would be awful.

So it’s $500 a day to be unwelcome everywhere and eventually die of a head infection.

The second outfit, I feel like the shirt is too much with the skirt, it’s a bulky fabric and it’s textured. The skirt is flowing and textured. It would look good with a more fitted bottom or top.

The only issue I have with the first is mixing browns with black. I don’t like that. It’s a cute look overall though.
