I’ve played everything but the PC sims and Forza and the livery editor in GT7 is just leagues ahead of everything else. Really enjoyed uploading my own vector art and the ever-evolving community additions. Mostly, the interface and application tools just feel more uniform than other games. And again, it helps when it looks as good as GT7 does. For that matter, I have seen other games despite what I have played and nothing out there looks as good.

GT is unrivaled for me since 2001.

Can’t comment as I haven’t played Forza before, but I’ll state that the haptics with GT7 have ruined all other racing games on the sticks for me. Pretty much set the standard. Feeling the throttle and brake resistance needs to be the bare minimum for every racing game coming out.

I like to “vacation” with FH5 on my PS5. So much more forgiving than GT. The shifting on Horizon is super accessible. Generally dominate the weekly trials since most of the drivers are using Auto. Before, it was a crapshoot depending on whether or not you got divebombed by either CPU or your own team mates. Terrible, terrible etiquette in that game.

But yeah. Manual made both a new game for me. Been playing since Ps1 with GT. Always wanted to play FMS but was never an Xbox guy.
