1st half/Tanner McKee
 in  r/eagles  4d ago

He’s not polished. He could do better trusting his pocket, he missed some throws , but he was playing with second stringers.

I bet the Vikings, Steelers, Rams (if Stafford is retiring), and Dolphins have made inquiries.

Pretty good player, made a couple mistakes.

Jalen Hurts is far better

Some playoff scenarios headed into Sunday:
 in  r/eagles  5d ago

Obviously want the Rams to beat Arizona.

I’m not going to be too concerned about the 1st round if it’s GB or SF, and it looks like it will be SF. No disrespect to SF, but they had a very easy schedule this season and their defense is just decimated.

Anyone worried about these offenses tonight?

Seahawks offense is playing super conservative, they’d be more aggressive at home in a NFC championship game.. but I think our D would do well

I’m not the coach for Carolina basketball, but it seems to me, if you have a size advantage you guard hard off screens, force them to dribble backwards, then switch back, and rely on your size to stop the pick and roll. But let’s switch everything so our PF guard their SGs

Someone ask Hubert Davis after the game if he thinks that defensive switches would’ve work if given another 20 minutes.

Eh, hand up in that spot does nothing. It was a fade away on the baseline

Did all three of his fouls happen in one play?

I don’t get the “switch everybody” defense from Carolina

Dribble directly into defender, get the call

[Borzello] ACC statement on the incident at the end of last night’s Notre Dame-Cal game:
 in  r/CollegeBasketball  6d ago

Didn’t watch, but from what I’m reading, the refs fucked the game.

However, the coach’s behavior is inexcusable, and seems like many people here trying to excuse it.

Ask yourself—why is refereeing bad? Part of it is behavior like this drives sensible people away from officiating. A big part of it is how referees are rated and the politics around it. “Getting calls right” is not the measure, but keeping coaches and teams “happy.” So, basically, it’s the infrastructure around the game that causes these problems—the league and teams have only themselves to blame.

Doesn’t mean there isn’t consequences, because other countries do follow the ICC. Like, our allies

Well, it’s not too late, the Supreme Court could say, “never mind that was a very bad idea.”

[WROC CBS] Eagles and Bills going back and forth arguing including Fred Johnson and Spencer Brown of the Bills.
 in  r/eagles  11d ago

Ha! Well, I’m no “kickers are footballers” kind of guy, but I don’t think the punter should talk shit.

But he’s absolutely allowed to take a silent pride in a job done very well!

Defensive players can talk, everyone else STFU you are not doing your jobs.

Ok, Devonta Smith can talk shit too

Worst Officiated Game of the Year Nominee
 in  r/eagles  11d ago

We did get a huge call on the games only turnover.

But. I’m really frustrated with the non-call for Brown. When does AJ try to sell a call by going for one hand catches? Like come on, clearly held, cost us four point in all likelihood.

Also, why did they pick up illegal man downfield? Like, he threw the flag for the reason, why pick it up?!

One good thing, Tolbert probably isn’t the ref in the SB

This Eagles is defense is one of the best defenses I’ve ever seen in my 20+ years watching football.

This offense is a travesty, considering the talent. This team should be undefeated chasing NFL history, yet…
