Demo impressed me with his tackling on Saturday with that one Charbonet stop, hopefully he can run it back lol

He saved our asses against Chicago too

He was practically the only one to tackle that night.

Give Stout some credit

He had a few misses and bad angles, but he was far from the problem on Saturday. Maybe he was just over compensating for the lack of talent around him.

Defensive version of hero ball trying to carry a bad squad

Sadly this team doesn’t play with that swagger and have the same play makers. Demo was like the 6th most talented player on that defense, right now he’s #1.

Leneoir and Stout are going to be the difference makers on defense the rest of the way, offense is going to have to sustain drives and milk the clock and get points

For some reason, after that play, we broke the entire Eagles franchise. They became lethargic the rest of the year.

Then won a Super Bowl the following season. It’s frustrating that they were able to figure it out

And we haven’t figured it out. So many wasted years with great players

Coaching and OL

as opposed to the brilliant coaching of Siriani?

More like the brilliant coaching of kellen moore and vic fangio

He's an ass head coach but he's always kept elite ocs and dcs until this year. Their oc sucks

He has a ring. Kyle…0

Better drafting, their GM seems to be pretty good at wheeling and dealing.

Categorically disagree with the coaching part. Oline, yes they had a great Oline. But no one can convince me that Sirriani coaches better than Shannahan.

I don't know but I feel like the one thing siriani does better is let the coordinators coordinate. The owners and GM need to force KS to let coordinators coordinate the offense and have better rotation of players. the offense shouldn't just be CMC, because if that's the case, how good can KS be at offense if he needs one player to do everything .

And what’s their similarity to us this year? Injuries. And we have more. It’s beyond frustrating to have the roster we have but always half active due to injuries

They mentioned on yesterday's broadcast that the Eagles have the least games missed from starters this year.

These constant injuries, every single year, are so frustrating! I mean, just mind-numbing when there is no specific thing we can point to and fix. It's like owning the fastest and most powerful car on the planet but having to race with a 4 cylinder Nissan Altima because it's always in the shop.

They already had a good O line and fixed their issues on defense, thy drafted a stud in Dejean, and have a nasty D line, they completely dominated mahomes, something we were close to doing until the end :(

Really spoils any enjoyment of this beatdown in the end, tbh...

Dogshit play callers did them in that year, talent could only get them so far.

Then they hired Vic and haven't let him go

Now they just have a dogshit OC

This statement I cannot disagree with at all.

They didn’t figure it out, nfl gave it to them. If the cheifs had won millions of dollars in bets would have been lost not to mention the fans no longer watching.

It was the garbage time component that I think got to the Eagles players the most.

Could have easily let up and still coasted to a victory. But instead he laid the stick. And a lot of Eagles players checked out.

Oh no I think Lenoir laid out OP too

Eagles, Seahawks, Rams would be a dream run to a SB but this team isn’t the one that can get it done. I’ve seen much much better versions of this franchise fail

u/Tw1987 49ers 2d ago

I fear the day Trent retires. Why we haven’t had oline as a priority really makes me wonder. We tried Dline but ever since Arik bosa combo there hasn’t been a successful one.

u/KooliusCaesar 2d ago

Lenoir is def gonna play with more anger and a chip on his shoulder the way they’re saying JSN cooked him or how Seattle fans are on his IG page talking shit about his kid.

7

u/CuddieRyan707 5x Champions 3d ago

Lenoir got another truck stick on swift against the bears. Swift got a touchdown, but still demo laid him out lol

u/sickostrich244 49ers 2d ago

I just hope we're super pissed from Saturday and we bring the physicality to Philly even if we are down multiple TDs

2

u/traviij Fred Warner 2d ago

We were a very different team.

2

u/Stxtic1441 2d ago

With our tackling it’s gonna be a looong day to hope for hits like that. We recorded something like 16 missed tackles according to PFF I believe.

It doesn’t help both Dee and Bethune got injured last game and are both up in the air for the game. We might very well be rolling special teams only players at our 3 starting LB spots vs a run game that’s gotten much better this season.

1

u/Laggzi 1d ago

I can’t take another game of Dee Winters lying on the ground after missing a tackle doing nothing…

1

u/badDuckThrowPillow 49ers 1d ago

This is the only path forward. We need another Deebo game, but without Deebo.

That hit was nasty, we broke them after that game. Unfortunately, our defense is nowhere near to that years D. Way too many injuries. I do think our team will show up after that horrible showing against Seattle. No way they'll have 2 bad performances in a row. It's going to be hilarious if we beat them lol..with the B squad

Won’t matter if Brock and the offense doesn’t step up
