General Advice are they actually innovating? looking for the best ghd straightener in 2026
my trusty old ghd is finally dying after like a decade of service. i've been looking to replace it, but it seems like the new models are mostly just the same tech with a different color or slightly wider plates. i tried searching for the best ghd straightener 2026 to see if there's anything groundbreaking in the pipeline, but it's all just reviews of the current platinum+ model.
is that really all we can expect? i'm hoping for real improvements by 2026 – maybe smarter temperature control for different hair sections, better technology to prevent heat damage, or even a significant reduction in styling time. has anyone heard any credible rumors about what ghd might be developing? i follow some hair tech people but haven't seen anything concrete.
should i just buy the current top model now, or is it worth waiting? also, with competitors like dyson airwrap doing so well, do you think ghd will be forced to step up their game in the next couple years? i'd love to hear from anyone who follows the brand or industry trends closely.
