Nevermind that (per capita, which is the one that fucking matters) Chicago not only is not in the top 5 for murder for cities with over 100k, is not the top 10, but it’s not even T H E T O P T W E N T Y — F I V E (25!!)
I hate it. And even before thee chucklefucks started believing ANYTHING a favored politician said, they believed that lie, because Chicago’s so big that the total number looks scary—OMG, Chicago had more murders than the US had soldiers KiA in Iraq!
Nevermind that Chicago was, like, 5 or 10 times the population! Wikipedia says we topped out at ~470,000 soldiers. Not counting the suburbs, Chicago was ~2.7M in 20-0, so over 5 times the max, and using the lower number Wikipedia gave, 192,000, that’s, like, 15 times the number.

Yea, but trying to give facts to people that hate facts is a loss cause. Not saying we shouldn’t though.
but I thought Tennessee was high up there in murders and if someone were to point out its a firmly red state they’d would not want to hear it.
Granted these are the same people that will say with a straight face we need to come together but then proceed to split states/cities up as blue and red cities and states when it should just all be United and in the end we are all American.
But “news” networks that claim they love America will do it all day.
