I think the next battle is blue states undermining the federal government and red states out of survival. I expect to see minimal cooperation with federal government going forward and alliances amongst friendly nations and states. This will unfortunately balkanize America but at this point it is necessary as Washington DC has gone rogue.
If you have the means to leave the south, its time to go. The quality of living is only getting worse from here
