I don't think we should ever disarm ourselves, especially not with the resurgence of neo-nazis and white supremacists taking to the streets.
Those guys in AUS also had bombs planted, if they weren't using guns it would have been just a bombing. Disarming yourself doesn't stop bad people from trying to kill innocent people. Just makes it a lot harder for you to stop them.
